1. PHEW!!! Everyone can breathe again.

2. Started off fast, then let Virginia back into it, then pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

3. The Secondary did NOT look good at all. They didn't cover well, they didn't play the ball well, they didn't tackle well. I see WAY TOO MANY cases of a safety trying to blast a guy with a shoulder tackle and completely whiffing. Inexcusable

4. How bad is Texas' O Line? Our D Line looked like All Americans against them.

5. I like Prosise at Tailback, but I hate how upright he runs. Get those pads down and be a smaller target for tacklers.

6. BK said, on the field after the game, that Zaire's injury IS in fact an ankle, but he would not know more until he got into the locker room. It didn't look good, and I feel terrible for him.

7. Those of you who threw away the entire season when Zaire went down can kiss my ass! Good luck, and God Bless, DeShone Kizer........ you will likely need it.

1. Ohio State did it last year. Why not us?
2. Get well soon Malik.

- CJ Prosise gets the game ball.

- DBs overall were bad, but KVR was really bad. He looks slow and is getting beat on routes.

- Joe Schmidt is a slightly below average MLB. That said, BVG needs to be smart enough to not waste him blitzing. If you're just going to send him in to get blocked and not disrupt anything, put someone in to blitz who can make a play, like Nylse Fn Morgan.

- Fuller was frustrating with his hands, but saved the day.

- Fuck injuries.

- OL looked like 2014 OL, but with poorer pass protection.

- Play calling made me puke twice.

- Good day getting pressure for the DL, but stopping the run was just Ok.

- I trust Yoon. I know he missed, but he seems accurate. Has to kick with more power and worry less about aiming.

- 2-0!

Van Gorder...yeeesh. Seeing Sheldon Day (our best pass rusher) drop into pass coverage a couple times makes zero sense to me.

One more thing, I do not believe in BVG. Poor effort in recruiting too. Someone can scoop him up anytime, please.

I wanted to see it. Put a disclaimer up maybe, but it's not like this is Lequon Treadwell like. It's not going to hurt Malik to have it up.

The puking was from the alcohol, the reason you drank the alcohol was because of the play calling.

Also we got good pressure but we struggled at getting sacks.

Still trying to come down. Seriously I feel like I've been beaten within inches of my life - with EMOTIONS.

- Were 2-0
- Defense (unfortunately) looks and feels a lot like last year
- Jaylon is incredible
- Feel so terrible for Malik
- Lots of pressure on Kizer... let's see what you've got, kid.

The video is fine. It's not even that gruesome. It's not like we're seeing a bone pop out or anything. Don't be so dramatic. We're adults here.

Typical ND game against an "inferior" opponent. I'm sure games like BC, Navy and Pitt will be battles as well. We'll find out next week what this team is made of.

The starting QB leaves with an injury, there is a lot of discussion about the severity and effects and you think it shouldn't be shown?

ok

-Very disappointed in Secondary
-Where is our Tight End(s)?
-Why can't we run for 3 yards on 3rd and 3?
-Whole complexion of Offense will now change, need Defense to step up and control games
-almost forgot we had Robinson and Hunter on our team

Well, that certainly doesn't look good. I'd bet my house that Zaire is done for the year...but we still have a very good team. The defense will have to step up next week, but I think this team has enough athletes to be able to contain GT's offense. If the Irish offense can keep from turning the ball over, I still think we can win that game!!!

I am a little more optimistic and haven't lost hope on the season...yet

Texas and the first quarter inflated our heads bc we owned both teams. Then, we let an under talented but team with a ton of heart believe and we couldn't get our mojo back. This could've been a blessing. No team looks very dominant, see Auburn.

Now, the big issue is the backend of our defense. kVR didn't look too bad but cole Luke did along with butler. Constantly out of position and not making plays on the ball. Let's hope it was a hiccup but I am really starting to question van gorder.

Prayers go to Zaire. Let's hope he's okay and recovers. But look at it logically. Zaire shouldn't be throwing more than 15-20 passes a game anyway. It was his third start. The gameplan isn't going to change very much and may actually save the season since BK won't get too pass happy and will lean on our Oline to run the ball. With that being said, prosise is a beast. Love the way he runs.

Will Fuller...well he's a game changer. Keep feeding him the ball and big things will happen.

Another big time match up thatll prob be top 10. Our team better be up for it. I expect them to play well and inspired.

Go Irish!

Nolan just said on his post game show, we should be aiming to just get in to a bowl this year.

I'm sorry, 10-2. Anything less is falling short. Even now.

They're 2-0 and winning 4 more should be the goal?? Even I'm not that pessimistic, MAYBE had they lost today... You still have a couple pretty much unlosable games...

I agree. UMASS was mentioned as being a walk over game, and either him or his co-host said 'at this point none of them are walk over games'.
