The tweet in question was retweeting his girlfriend's tweet referring to her acceptance into IU and he added that "now McKenzie just needs to get his academics in order". Which was BOTH 1) In his opinion, positive and 2) Accurate.
It pissed McKenzie off royally (and rightfully so) and could effect us going forward. But according to you, its totally fine, right?
TP is tweeting to people he actually knows and talks to. He reports, does interviews and presents information that has been ok'd by those recruits. Comparing his conversations with those of Star69 or Fister is so inaccurate that it's insulting. But keep trying.
Lol, I'm not going to write a twitter law book with articles and sections, you have to have discretion, the 1/2 is simply a guideline.
Obviously that was a dumb thing to tweet out. Most people are not intelligent enough and know how to draw lines, even if they follow 1/2, which is why I've always said it's best to NOT tweet at them at all. But you leave out that convenient detail.
And I doubt TP talks to every recruit he tweets at, but maybe you know better than I.
Can we ignore TP since he's a-typical, not necessarily being just a fan, but not necessarily having an affiliation with ND?
You seem convinced that one size fits all, so you have a problem with Whiskeyjack tweeting out requested college information? This is an example of a responsible, intelligent football fan tweeting a recruit in a completely harmless fashion. I have ZERO problem with this type of a tweet.
