My first semester of college I was absolutely miserable. I had just broken up with my g/f from high school, my friends were ALL at different colleges or starting real life, and everyone that I knew from my hometown at college were asshats. The first semester flew by and by the end of it I had a new g/f, made all new friends, and even became friends with those people I didn't like from my hometown because away from there, they were different people.
If he gives it a chance, he'll probably end up liking it just fine. The problem is that some people never give it a chance. They mope and mope and don't try to make the best of it and when they end up looking back 10-20 years later, they have a lot of regrets.
In the end, I think Louis toughs it out. He'll see the field this year in some capacity and next year he'll see the field a ton once he's had a full season in Coach Longo's S&C program. By his junior year he'll be the man or a major contributor. If he is really as talented as we hope he is, he may even be the man or a major contributor next year.
