Florida State should be number one. They beat the living crap out of Clemson. Winston is the truth.

If Winston played in the SEC ...

I for one thought the pre season hype out of FSU about Winston was all bs........wow was i wrong.

Can the Brownies draft his rights this year? Id be fine with not having him for 2 years.

Could happen. Off the top of my head FSU seems to have the easiest schedule left to get there.

Toughest competition left is Miami and Florida, Miami is at home and Florida is away.

Should win out but then again crazier things have happened in college football.

There's no way South Carolina should be 21 and we remain unranked. Also UCF? Yeah they just beat (overrated) Louisville come on.

13. LSU (6): Losing as a 10-point favorite to a division rival is never a positive, but losing to one that seemed determined to give the game away with special teams mistakes and turnovers in the second half -- and has suffered a wave of defensive injuries worthy of rivaling Georgia's on offense -- is even worse.

Haha they tear LSU apart... then only move them down 7 spots to 13.

Both Oregon and FSU still have tough roads left. FSU will smack Miami and probably smack Florida, but the ACC championship game against Virginia Tech if Tech keeps improving will be a very interesting game. Tech has a D good enough to keep them in the game with some really good luck/breaks.

Alabama has a joke schedule from here on out. LSU is not good this year.

Missouri behind Miami in coaches poll is total garbage. How does that make any sense at all? Did they watch Miami vs. Florida compared to Missouri vs. Florida? Did they not watch Miami almost lose to lowly UNC?

The biggest joke though has to be all those 2 loss SEC teams ranked as high as they are. Makes no sense at all.

LSU at 13 with 2 losses to unranked teams? They should be 20s if ranked at all.

Not sure if pollsters realize that we beat Az St at a neutral site on national tv

So UGA loses to Missouri and Clemson and is unranked.

But LSU loses to 2 unranked teams and is top 15?!

makes sense.

LSU beat Auburn, TCU and Florida. I mean now we know UF is garbage, but the Auburn win is looking more impressive.

UGA has 3 loses (LSU, Clemson and Vandy) but also has a big (?) wins vs. LSU and SouthCar...

SEC circle jerk is ridiculous. Alabama is Alabama and A&M is damn good but the rest of this is just crazy

Missouri has been pretty great this year too for the SEC. I still think LSU is a really good team. Their defense is just way worse than it usually is.

.The human polls are awful. They got Texas A&M ahead of an Auburn team with a lesser record they just lost to I believe at home. They got UCF who just won at Louisville behind Louisville. They got Clemson at 9 for what? Beating a Georgia team (at home) with 3 losses now, looking mediocre against mediocre ACC teams, and getting their doors blown off by FSU.

An aside: I agree with Lax's post an FSU/Virginia Tech ACC title game being interesting because I think VT's defense is one the best out there.

Also the coaches poll as Miami ahead of Missouri even though Miami looked awful against UNC.

Yikes...that's just flat out depressing!

Yup, what bothered me was

Kelly has had the most teams (4) that have finished lower than their pre-season ranking

But that's not all that bad when you consider we were unranked twice (once 2012) and finished ranked.

Regardless, still not a happy story lol
