From CNN:

I see no problem with this. Minors should not be receiving gender-affirming care.
Also, Zephyr is able to cast votes remotely still, he just can't debate on the floor.
Apparently there are no mental health issues with adults who are living with a forced gender transition as a child. Weird. Is there not blood on the hands of those parents?

Misleading tweet. Very misleading. She’s banned from what’s left of the session and it’s for decorum.
She is banned because the white men don’t want to hear her speak and they have not been letting her talk for a long while now. She has to push a button to be recognized and they haven’t recognized her. Now they just outright banned her for reasons.

He has a Y chromosome.
So what are people who have multiple yy Orr multiple xx chromosmes or any of the various combinations that affect their physical but mental conditions? How about true hermaphroditism that can have any version of a karyotype as follows: 46XX, 46XY, 47XXY, and one 46XX/mosaic who can have parts or wholes of both gonads. How do you raise them? What sex are they?
We also know that gender identity is largely separate from what organs you are born with. In any event how does a person having any version of the myriad of karyotypes humans are capable of producing affect you personally?

Answer it’s not as simple has having an Y chromosome makes you a man. There are numerous aneuploody conditions that occur quite regularly simply because our reproductive methods and genetic recombination methods are imperfect a lot. For example a human can be born with only one X chromosome (Turner syndrome.) there are also xxy, xxyy and xyy among others that may not be viable. In any event there are humans on this planet today (and many more in the past and future) that do not fit into your simple classification nor your pre specified gender roles in our society. And even though these aneuploodies are generally infertile if they love to adulthood it doesn’t matter. There will always be some amount of them in our society because they will always appear through normal human reproduction.

He is a white man.

Regardless, might be worth following the rules the "white men" have in a place like Montana.

Your just like the drug commercials. Side affects may include diarrhea, nausea, shortness of breath, numbing of extremities, tingling of the skin, hallucinations, sore throat, dryness of the eyes, dizziness, swelling of the genitals and in rare instances infection of the perineal.

Those with extremely rare genetic oddities should be treated exactly as what they are: an extremely rare genetic oddity that doesn't easily fit into the normal male/female definition. However, a normal XY male who wants to pretend he's a girl is something entirely different. He's a male. Period. If he wants to pretend to be a female that's his business, but the rest of us aren't obligated to play along and change our lives to accommodate his fantasy. Instead of encouraging this narcissistic, disturbed attention seeking, we should encourage him to seek therapy.

Can’t answer those questions? I realize on simple level it’s really easy to justify taking away rights of people. You are dismissing literally millions of people worldwide.

Have you not been reading the past 10 years? I'm a doctor with a double major in biology and psychology as an undergrad. That's common knowledge here. It's been mentioned several times over the years. So yes, I'm very qualified to address this issue on a knowledgable and FACTUAL basis instead of just parroting a bunch of misinformed PC nonsense like you and cack. Now, you got any other dumb questions? 🙄

Another poor attempt at a personal insult instead of addressing the issue under discussion or just admitting that you said something incredibly ignorant and got blown up for it.

I’ll take that as a “no,” and “hold my beer.” I didn’t even comment on the topic at hand. My comment was directed at your usual lack of humanity and your general insistence that you are the smartest guy in every discussion and everyone else is some boomerish version of nonsensical and/or childish. You are a cartoon!

You're the one who insists on saying misinformed woke pc nonsense and then gets mad when I point it out and refute it with facts. If you don't like it, stop saying stupid, misinformed stuff. I'm not trying to be the smartest guy in every discussion. It just seems that way because I always stick to the facts. You should try it.

lol...........My point was you're trying to conflate the discussion with the Toronto Vortex. A quick google showed these results. Looks like these abnormalities are rare and typically don't alter a person into confusion about their sexuality.

Can females have XXY syndrome?

A few 47,XXY cases with a female phenotype have been reported.

Penta X syndrome is an extremely rare chromosomal disorder in which females have three extra X chromosomes.

XYY syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder caused by the presence of an extra Y chromosome.

Summary

XYY syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder that affects males. It is caused by the presence of an extra Y chromosome. Males normally have one X and one Y chromosome. However, individuals with this syndrome have one X and two Y chromosomes. Affected individuals are usually very tall. Many experience severe acne during adolescence. Additional symptoms may include learning disabilities and behavioral problems such as impulsivity. Intelligence is usually in the normal range, although IQ is on average 10-15 points lower than siblings.

Introduction

In the past, there were many misconceptions about this disease. It was sometimes called the super-male disease because men with this syndrome were thought to be overly-aggressive and lacking in empathy. Recent studies have shown that this is not the case. Although individuals with XYY syndrome have an increased risk for learning disabilities and behavioral problems, they are not overly aggressive, nor are they at an increased risk of any serious mental illness. Because these boys are at a higher risk for having learning disabilities, they may benefit from speech therapy, tutoring, and general awareness of the specific issues they struggle with. Although the first years of school may be more challenging for boys with XYY syndrome, they generally go on to lead full, healthy, and normal lives.

I said nothing on the topic, dummy. So, as usual, you are a screaming at the clouds … content with your generalizations like the myopic bigot you are.

No I’m not. You are simplifying something that isn’t simple. It’s not simple. Gender identity isn’t ties to physical expressions of genotype it’s just not. Sorry you can’t understand that.

There are absolutely millions of people with these Karo types and there are always questions on how to raise them and what their identify will end up being. Still you won’t answer why it even matters. What do these people who have differing gender identities than from your personal expections actually harm you. Answer… they don’t.

Of course you said something about it. I posted a factual, very informed answer to cack's question about those with genetic abnormalities. You then called me a bigot and questioned my qualifications to comment. Then when I informed you of my quite significant qualifications on the subject, you looked silly and felt embarrassed, so you spent the next few posts calling me a doechebag, bigot, a dummy, and a child who didn't get enough hugs from my parents. I'm just devastated by your ability to cut deep and completely refute all my facts with your rapier-like insults. Absolutely devastated! 😎😁

You need to put him on ignore. 41 is the stereotypical "Old man screaming at clouds". He will probably call me all kinds of names, but I simply won't have to see them. The wonders of technology.

Let me spell it out for you.
There are posters on here who have family members who are going through issues that are clearly beyond your comprehension. But instead of STFU, you are compelled to dismiss the complexity of an issue in favor of your narrow definition because it’s more important for you to share your perspective than it is to consider that there are people who know more about it than you. Is there even a need to mention how insulting your takes are to the families of these individuals? That, sir, makes you a dick!

Facts and reality don't give a flip about your emotional arguments. I've never said we shouldn't help those with gender identity issues, nor said we shouldn't be compassionate. I've said they need therapy and help, not everyone around them encouraging their delusion.

I got a dumb question for you. Why do you, an Alabama fan, grad, born and raised, spend so much time on a Notre Dame message board?

You probably spend more time here than any of the actual fans here. Nobody else on this board goes on other team’s boards, certainly no more than occasionally, yet here you are every waking hour of every day.

You spend half your time denigrating actual ND fans over their beliefs/opinions and the other half bloviating about how smart, wealthy, educated you are, what toys you have, etc. You rarely offer any opinions on ND football (ya know, the reason everyone else comes to this board.)

I think we should get together at a game.
Indeed……I haven‘t been up to SB in about three years, it’s about time. Living as far away as I do, it has been easier to see them play away games (I’ve been to games against Va Tech and Ga Tech since then). I could kick myself for not going to the Citrus Bowl last year.
