And why is it that you felt the need to "explain" him? If he was a racist POS his grave should be pissed on, not "explained".

Also, while I have you here, care to use your master facts and logic to respond to my post regarding the WalMart closures in Portland? Or are we still in the culture war only padded room?

Why "facts" and "logic" sound like just the sort of thing a rapscallion Auburn fan would have printed on a t-shirt to scandalize the good people of Alabama! I say, I say, I say how DARE you sir imply that going beyond a puffy world view affirming opinion piece is necessary for good and proper discourse. I do declare in the good town of Mayberry where I grew up I would give you a stern talking to while we pulled taffy together!

I think at this point there must be some Benny Johnson tweet that calls stats gay or something because the radio silence from the very serious facts and logic group on explaining the walmart thing has been astounding. I was assured that Walmart was doing this for very clear and obvious reasons, so obvious that they can't possibly be explained to simpletons like us. Or, maybe chateau culture too comfy to leave?

You should read more history. The Klan is a Democrat-founded group. Few if any Republicans ever belonged to the Klan and wore their hoods. That was a Robert Byrd, George Wallace, 100% Democrat-associated group.
You constantly make this point but the conveniently forget to mention the very large and then when the Dixiecrats realigned with the GOP beginning in the Nixon years.

If anyone is interested in this topic I’d recommend watching the Documentary Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story.

Yet, that crowd flopped at finding a home.

The whole "Klan is actually Republican" message never really worked an any meaningful sense. It kept on dying... and rural America kept on its path to getting more red while urban areas got more blue.

Talk about the dixiecrats all you want... same shit was happening up north.

Notre Dame vs. The Klan.

Not great, but a decent read on the Klan in the 20's, its internal turmoil and its rise in Indiana.

This is your idea of “good faith?” How about another source: https://www.history.com/topics/19th-century/ku-klux-klan
None of this has anything to do with what I stated about Republicans being the current party of hate but whatever…
You claimed there are more people in white supremacy groups today than there were in the Klan's heyday.

You then asserted the SPLC, an org with an attorney charged with domestic terrorism, would back you up. You've now provided a source that says the Klan has 3K members, a number we've already established.

Will you be providing a source that backs you up asserting there is more than 4 million Americans with membership in white supremacy groups? Yes or no?

What the heck does any of this have to do with Walmart. Toronto demands answers.

I already did. I can only conclude that you’re not actually arguing in good faith. I’ll be contacting the North Dakota bar.

It's true, I just want to know what I'm missing because all signs that see point to it being a business decision. Hoping IE's grandpas can come through and teach a young wippersnapper

It's whippersnapper. That must be the "woke" way of spelling it so you don't cause mental distress of the visual image of whips or snapping turtles. LOL

You dismissed it because they have an employee that is charged with a crime. What an odd thing argue about.
1) I am not sure a company who employs (and supports) domestic terror is a reliable source on the membership of white supremacy orgs; and

2) you didn't even provide their supposed numbers.

You simply asserted there are more today than in the 20's, and that SPLC says so. However, it's unclear whether SPLC even says that is the case.

What kind of law do you practice, Dak? And show me how the SPLC supports domestic terror.

I'll let ya know as soon as you show the numbers.

They have said the people in Atlanta who attacked the police training center shouldn't have been arrested. Sounds pretty much like an endorsement of the behavior.

Count your blessings that Dshan isn't around anymore.
I miss him. He was picky, but usually funny about it. He & I used to exchange private messages about some of the worst grammar & spelling mishaps we found on the Internet. My favorite was, "The density of wood verys."

Call 334-926-8200, press 4. They will give you the numbers. Again, though, you’ll dismiss them because you don’t like the source.

What numbers? What groups? Where are these 4 million plus white supremacists meeting up?

I googled the number. Doesnt appear to be a thing.

Call the fucking number. It’s the SPLC. They are the only ones that keep track of membership. Ask “how many white supremacist hate group members are there?” They will give you rough numbers.
