If we end corporate welfare (Republicans don't like welfare so it shouldn't be an issue right?).
If make Wall Street pay a very tiny tiny transaction tax (After all the rest of America pays sales tax on everything else).
If we make the guy who got his money from capital gains pay just as much as successful small businesses owner who actually worked his or her butt off for their million dollars.
If people stop hiding their money in foreign banks.
If we put things in place that are going to slow the rate of out of control health care cost. There is a good chance I end up working in health care for the rest of my life. If it means a slightly lower salary for me so be it. I'll be okay but for America's sake we got get these cost down. That is what is really driving our deficit. Cutting benefits won't do anything but act as bandage. Even if we make cuts 10 years later if the cost keep going like this the right will we aksing for more cuts.
Sorry I went off a bit on health care. Anyway if we do all these things and we still don't have enough money. Which we may not. Then go ahead raise the middle class taxes a bit.
You really need to stop saying this as a serious part of your argument. Under current U.S. tax law it is ILLEGAL for any U.S. citizen to hide money overseas without claiming the interest gained as revenue. This isn't a loophole that needs to be closed because this practice is already illegal.
