I'm happy that Obama won, but I feel badly for my friends that wanted a different result.

So remember how pissed everyone was because Bush lost the popular vote but won the election? Now it's ok, right?

Congrats on your guy. Hopefully things get better. He couldn't do much worse. Be sure to blame the previous administration.

What makes 2012-2014 and maybe 2014-2016 any different from the past two years??
- Republican controlled House
- Democratic Senate and President

Seems to me the Republicans will only get more bitter and antagonistic, meaning nothing will get done

It will be interesting to see what happens. Obama now worries about legacy moving forward and not reelection. So, does he try and get people to come together or not?

Romeny could still win the popular vote, or it will be close. So, America is still pretty torn on how to move forward and I saw where nationally 53% in exit polls say they are mad. We can't have this going on for four more years.

That's dumb to say. Almost all polls show that hiring should rise over the next two quarters. Just sour grapes.

NBC has been comparing Obama's campaign to Moneyball all night.

Nope. The CBO projects 12 million new jobs no matter who was elected.

So you're denying the medical device excise tax being charged to device makers won't cause lay offs or higher prices.

How about that small business owners and restaurant chain owners have already said they will fire and reduce hours.

According to CNN, Romney not ready to concede just yet -- 11:43 p.m.

That's because Ohio is still rather interesting. Cuyahoga has a ton of votes left (~250,000), so does Hamilton (~220,000), and ~750,000 from other counties. It's within 1%, why would you concede until it's official?

Happy for everyone in this country. We're going to be better off even if people don't realize it. Don't worry, y'all!

sooooooo.... you're smoking pot?

I wish. Though had I been I would have been even more incoherent three hours ago and asleep two hours ago. With age comes wisdom and fragility.

And the propensity to drone on and on with repeated stories.

because he's also going to lose in Florida and Virginia. This is not a close vote electorally. This is leaning toward a landslide. I've said he was a douche from the beginning. Why should he change now?
