Those aren’t directly related. Restricting what IDs people can use will impact turnout without stopping fraud that doesn’t exist.

What happens if they don't match? Let's say there are 100 more ballots on the machine compared to the hand counting. How are they going to determine which votes should be nullified? I'm glad they are doing the comparison, just unsure of the process that would take place to bring the machine and hand counts back in agreement.

I am amazed people think half the harvested ballots even know they voted let alone filled out their ballot. Is it naivete? Of all the crime in this world people really act like the sanctity of our elections is a bridge too far.

The point is that if you’re asking for people to have a specific form of ID to vote you’re going to hurt turnout. Doesn’t matter if that’s in rural Arkansas or Brooklyn. Without any evidence that there is a problem that needs to be solved what is the point of making it harder on citizens to vote?

Now this the part where you tell me it’s not an inconvenience to go get an id. I repeat that it is for people that don’t have the luxury of taking off work on a whim and that don’t have cars, the whole reason they don’t have drivers licenses to begin with. And around and around we go.
