AOC is having a temper tantrum over a Twitter account that is obviously a parody of her. Even Elon has responded to it and gotten in on the action of making fun of her for saying so many dumb things, so now she's raging at him for promoting the parody account. She issued a statement to her followers pointing out that the OBVIOUSLY fake parody account wasn't really her because, well, apparently her followers can't figure that out. I guess she'll soon be telling them that The Babylon Bee and The Onion aren't real either.

Jesus F. Christ she's dumber than a bag of hammers and thin-skinned to boot. The Twitter account, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez Press Release, is just savaging her with idiotic comments that are SOOOO close to the dumb stuff she's famous for saying. The following is funny and Musk replied to it, further angering her.

I've been here for it. The woman has no sense of humor, she's made the situation worse. We already saw her play up the Alex Stein cat calls as menacing or some silliness.

The CBO actually estimates the changes to SNAP will lead to more benefits. The new exceptions (homeless, vets, etc.) will add more people than the work requirements will remove.

The IRS cuts are also back dated and can be maneuvered around (though if the cuts go through they'll raise the debt).

It seems like the dems gamed out the details a bit better than the R's.

The overall slight reduction in spending actually helps with inflation vs. 2010 when bigger cuts depressed an already depressed economy. All things together it went as well as it could have.
Agreed. Sad thing is that it was kicked down the road again so we’ll go through the theatrics again in a few years.

That goes against the nature of the man. His goal is to maximize eyeballs on him until he dies. That was the package you purchased in 2016, expecting him to become a party man at this time is foolish.
He gave a playbook to any megalomanic on how to win a national election. Adopt whichever party‘s stances they have & go Huey P. Long. Trump can talk the talk on some conservative issues but I never believed him as sincere. I’m willing to bet he’s paid for more abortions than a lot of Dems.

I think this is a position everyone should be able to get behind. I've got nothing to hide, but why would anyone want the government looking over your shoulder 24/7? That power would eventually lead to abuse, I don't see any good coming from it. The people that want to hide will continue hiding and the rest will be left living in constant fear. At some point they'll use that information to find that $15,000 inheritance gift wasn't reported and they'll send the IRS, or something else along those lines.

Left wing folks are new to this sort of treatment.
This guy can have my vote.

He's probably the nicest guy in politics. The frontrunner for the right is calling people meatball pedophiles and telling massive lies.

Trump and Hannity deserve plenty of blame for Oz. Dave McCormick had a real chance to win that seat.
I stick with Trump and Mastriano because Oz would've won with a decent candidate for governor. Oz kept it competitive against the Fetterstein.

McCormick would've probably done well too. But Mastriano was an anchor on downballot candidates, so much so that Fetterstein - a man physically uncapable of doing the job was able to win.

It's amazing that there was a candidate even worse than Dr. Oz and he somehow won. GOP really screwed up in PA.

It didnt matter who ran against Fetterman. Our country is now balkanized. If a water bottle has a D on it, vote for it.

It absolutely mattered who ran. This is a loser mentality by any definition.

In 2004, a supetmajority of North Dakota voters chose to reelect a democratic senator while simultaneously voting for GWB.

In 2010, said Senator elected not to run because he saw the writing on the wall that he was about to get demolished. In 2012, a democrat (not incumbent) defended a Senate seat for the democratic party.

There is a ton of partisanship. But the only people who say "candidates don't matter" are losers who want to justify their shortcomings. At l

They weren't voting for a republican. They voted for a head of cabbage instead of a Doctor for Pete's sake. They KNEW he was a head of cabbage. They didn't care.

They voted for Young Frankenstein and they will again.

This does a good job of summing things up.

Poll: Americans Sour on Democratic, Republican Parties
Voters across the country have largely soured on the two major political parties, with just 20% of respondents in a new State Policy Network (SPN) survey considering the parties civil and fewer than half of partisans finding their own party “ethical.”

In the poll of 2,043 voters conducted from June 14-18, fewer than one in five of respondents also indicated they see either of the parties as “civil” and just half of interviewees view their own party that way.

SPN messaging strategist Erin Norman told The Center Square the message being sent by voters couldn’t be clearer.

“There is strong and increasing desire among most Americans to return to greater civility in politics, which includes bipartisan work in Congress,” Norman said. “Neither party is putting effort in those places and it’s showing in what the people think of the parties.”

Norman said all the back-and-forth has frustrated voters who ponder what other options they may have.

“We have had a few cycles where voters have openly said they disliked both major candidates but still went to the polls and voted for one or the other, so there are clearly barriers to a third-party run,” she added. “But there is a massive opportunity for a major party candidate to take a new approach and win over more than enough moderate and party-leaners to win and go into office with good momentum.”

On average, just 26% of voters (28% of Republicans and 24% of Democrats) said they consider the ideals and policies of the two parties to be balanced and an average of 21% of respondents said they view them as compassionate, with Republicans at just 16%.

Norman said it’s not hard to see why so many voters see things in such a dwindling light.

“It’s not what we traditionally think of as ‘issues’ – like health care, education, or taxes,” she added. “It’s a lack of compromise from both sides, and a feeling that there are very few politicians that are focused on solutions to the problems that matter to the American people.”

In addition, just 28% of Democrats say “fair” describes their party’s ideals and policies vs. 30% of Republicans. An average of 31% of interviewees view their party’s ideals and policies as irresponsible, topped by 35% of Democrats.

The poll, conducted in partnership with Morning Consult, had a margin of error of 2%.

The Lincoln Project essentially endorses Donald Trump in the Republican Primary.

Or they simply believe that DeSantis cannot beat Trump without Trumping harder. They believe Trumping harder loses a general election.

How the heck do you get "we endorse Donald Trump for President"? 😂

Glad they could be interrupted from their routine of donning confederate flags and trying to derail Republican rallies. When I look for credible political advice, I think Lincoln Project.
