Exactly. It shouldn't be an issue, he's driving a PGA issued vehicle, holding his credentials outside of the car, and has no idea what the traffic is for. If Scheffler was anywhere near the actual site of the accident where lab techs are working you wouldn't see unanimous condemnation of the officers tactics. The guy was trying to be the story of the day, backfired on him, and now he's getting rightfully roasted.
Bullshit. Dude drove past a cop telling him to stop. The cop was doing his job directing traffic. Who the golfer was, whether he had his credentials out, or what sort of car he was driving are completely irrelevant. The scene was closed to traffic while the police were investigating an accident, and this guy decided he was in a hurry or was too important to stop, so he drove through. The officer did his job and arrested him, just like what would happen to me or you if we did that.

This is all based on.....? You saw the video of him doing all that? Incredible you have access and ESPN/CNN/FOX/BBC/CBC don't have it, but you do!

You can't be making this argument in an honest manner. You've never been to a sporting event where there is priority access given to certain people? Tell me how you think Saban got to games. You think that he didn't have any sort of pass or marker on his vehicle?

The difference is you or me would not have an car given to us by the PGA and pass credentials specifically issued so that we could pass through traffic stops. You know, the important detail that you're saying is irrelevant.

Incredible what emotion and feelings, instead of looking at something rationally does to someone's judgement lol.

Also witnesses have said another traffic officer waved Scottie through before captain America who was working the crash scene decided to mount his car.

It's the WHOLE POINT of having tour sponsored cars to transport players. I have a client who played on the Champions Tour, and they do this for them too. It is absolute brainworms to think that the PGA Championship would not have the transport logistics fully laid out to all the LEO's in the area.

This is like ball boy demanding Federer to not enter the court at Wimbledon before all the balls are picked up, lil bro thinks he's on the team.

I don't know if you're being intentionally dishonest or if you're just obtuse. It doesn't matter if you're Nick Saban trying to get to the stadium or if you're a professional golfer trying to get to the course. Being in a tour car or having credentials isn't the point either. You can not drive through an area that the police have closed due to a crime investigation. This isn't about getting through security to get into an event. This is about refusing to follow a lawful order from a police officer and driving through an area that was closed, then doubling down on it and dragging the officer 30 feet when he tries to stop you. Stop spinning it and misrepresenting what was going on. I know you probably can't, but at least try.

So you have the video of the claims you're making? Any evidence? Take the emotion and feelings out of it. Stop twisting, stop spinning, and stop misrepresenting what was going on.

We know he had a PGA provided car, and we know he had credentials. You've been the only one throwing a hissy fit about this. He's a straight white guy with a family, you're supposed to like these guys. Arguing for the sake of it is hilarious, but typical haha.

I've read multiple news reports and seen a video of the event. Not hard to understand what happened. He drove through an area that was closed for a police investigation. What part of that confuses you so much? Please explain what a PGA provided car and credentials have to do with that. Again, this isn't about him not being recognized by security who wouldn't let him into an event. This is 100% about driving through an area that is closed and with a police officer repeatedly ordering him to stop. Why do you keep bringing up his PGA provided car & credentials? What does that have to do with the matter?

As for his race or him being married, that's irrelevant to the matter. That's a liberal thing to constantly play identity politics and see everything through that prism. Thanks for reminding us, though.

Oh, so different ones than the rest of us? Care to share? Please, none with crayons! You not understanding how a sports event is run isn't on everyone else. That's a little adventure you need to figure out on your own buddy. I know you probably can't, but at least try.

And they say conservatives have no sense of humor! I'm glad you were able to identify my totally real and true point about him being white. Hook line anddddd sinker lmao.

It’s hard to believe that you’ll make it to age 70*, but go ahead and spend your last few years on a message board of a team that you don’t root for, arguing with and ridiculing those with whom you disagree. What a fucking loser.

* Seriously, have you ever heard of exercise? How about nutrition? Your abdominal fat indicates you have estrogen levels high enough to make a tranny jealous.

Just admit you can't explain what having a PGA car and credentials have to do with going through an area closed off by the police and refusing to stop when ordered to do so. All the rest of your vortex nonsense is just your usual dishonest spin and strawman arguing because you simply cannot win any argument with facts and reason. You know it. I know it. We all know it. That's the only reason anyone spins, obfuscates, twists, and uses strawman arguments. It's because they either don't have the facts to win or the wit. Take your pick.

I mistook you for someone who's actually been to a sporting event, my apologies. I now know you never attended a high level sports event that requires taking a road into it. Because if you have, you'd understand what a "marked car" or "credentials" are. Then you'd next understand cops are typically stationed at the front of the entrance to allow athletes or others that have credentials (hopefully by now you've looked up what credentials are!). Now, if you still don't understand how this all works this is just your usual dishonest spin and strawman arguing because you simply cannot win any argument with facts and reason. Until you show us the proof that you have, it's just more spins, obfuscates, twists, and strawman's.

We all understand people with credentials get into events. Stop dodging the question. This guy was stopped because the police had an area blocked off due to investigating a fatal accident. The golfer tried to go through the blocked off area and refused to stop when ordered to do so by police. The officer wasn't stationed at the entrance to let players and VIP's in. He was directing traffic away from the scene of a fatal accident that was being investigated. Event credentials and cars are utterly irrelevant at that point.

Try again: what do event-issued cars & credentials have to do with driving through a closed area where an investigation is taking place? Can you answer that? Can you? No obfuscating, no strawman arguing, no twisting, no dodging. Just tell us why you believe a guy's credentials and event-provided car entitle him to drive past a police-closed area and ignore a lawful order to stop.

All Sheffler had to do, is get out of his car or get a policeman’s attention and explain who he was and that the policeman further back passed him through. If the policeman doesn’t let him go on through, then call some golf official at the club.

So you don't actually know how a sports event run. Got it.

Less emotion, more fact based approach would really do you wonders. Can you do that? I don't believe you actually understand how it works, so I don't think you're intentionally spinning, obfuscating, or dodging. You just kinda lack the ability to understand it all, it's ok though, I think less reality tv and more reasoning and fact finding would help you out. Do you think that's something you can do for us big guy? I know, it'll be a little awkward at first but you'll find facts and reasoning make more sense than just getting all emotional.

Toronto, I'll let you in on a little secret: we all know how sports events run. We also all know you're spinning and dodging and strawman arguing because you can't differentiate between security screening who gets into an event, and police closing off an area for an investigation. You said something stupid about why he was stopped, found out it has nothing to do with what happened, and can't own your mistake now. You can't explain what an event-supplied car & credentials have to do with driving through a police stoppage, can you? All you can do is feebly try to change the subject to "It's a sporting event! Don't you know how that works?" :) Do you understand why we make so much fun of you for the strawman arguing, the Toronto vortex, constantly being intellectually dishonest, and being unable to argue any position or idea without doing so?

We? Can't you tell, you're alone on this one buddy. No one wants to argue that Scheffler was in the wrong. Those crickets you hear, aren't lunch, that's the lonely corner where you're sitting with the dunce cap on.

When you go to your first event, take note of how traffic stops are being run a few miles out from the event. It'll really help bring this all into view for you. I don't know why you're getting so emotional, take a step back, try and use facts, logic, and reason to come to a conclusion. Maybe you're insecure? Maybe you just don't know any better? But, it's not a good look to be sad feeble little guy. Do you know why we all put on hand your head and hold you back while you go on these little emotional tirades? It's not because you emit a strong small man syndrome, but because you just scream and shout about these ridiculous things while patting yourself on the back.

To sum it up - you haven't shown any video or proof of what you're claiming happened, and can't comprehend how a sporting event is run. Time to put down the day time soaps and mix in an outing outside of the safe space to see how the world actually works.

Stop the deflecting and vortex nonsense. Answer the question: how do event credentials and car allow you to drive through an area closed off by the police for an investigation and ignore an officer telling you to stop?

If you can’t differentiate the situations, then I can’t help you. Every one has a different opinion of what qualifies as a loser, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds it absolutely pathetic that a physician spends his free time on a message board of a team he doesn’t follow, arguing with strangers and insulting them.

Oh, lighten up. I only insult the dumb and dishonest ones. It's not like I mentioned how disappointed your dad is that he didn't finish before you mom rolled over onto her back. You go out of your way to beg for the abuse and draw a bullseye on yourself. Stop saying dumb stuff to me and I won't make fun of you.
You act like a child who never grew up. It’s really easy for you to insult me when you have no fear of being held accountable. You are a doctor and presumably a pillar of your small town community. How about acting like it.

Or double down on your behavior and find your way to Indianapolis. We’ll go out to dinner and have a few drinks….and I guarantee you won’t make fun of me in person.

I’m not mad. I’m just showing everyone what a pussy you are. If I was actually mad I would come out to Montana and find you. It wouldn’t be that difficult. You’ve already provided enough info.

Sure. The guy who spends his free time insulting other posters is great and I’m a fool. How can you read his posts and tell me he’s not an asshole? Why are you defending him? Is this bizarro world? Just because you agree with him politically doesn’t mean he’s not a piece of shit.

1. There are eye witness accounts that refute what the officer said, but none to support the officer.
2. There are multiple accounts of golfers being waved through to go that way before Scottie.
3. Scottie was following directions given by another cop.

So in the rain and early morning hours, a cop decided to jump onto a moving vehicle following directions given by another cop and following other golfers. I 100% promise you that is not following policy or procedure. No body camera of course, but lied on his police report and said he did.

Many cops are by-the-book people who do things the right way, but this is obviously a case of an idiot cop acting like an idiot. They already leaked his cop buddies making fun of him for acting like a clown in a group chat.

Let’s not pretend this was a one-off. 🙄 it’s your typical behavior to act like an arrogant, condescending, know-it-all, asshole. You won’t go a week without falling right back into your “dickish norm. … 🫤
