That’s just not actually true. ICE is getting $11B in base FY26 appropriation.

$167B is in the reconciliation bill for overall immigration enforcement efforts, spread across CBP, ICE, and others, and that money is able to be spent from the start of FY26 until the end of FY29. ICE’s portion is $80M over those 4 years, so roughly $30B per FY when you include the base budget. And roughly 50% or so of the Marines budget. The military got a similar appropriation bump in reconciliation.
