We left at least a couple scores on the board. If the offense didn’t jack that up, that last play wouldn’t have mattered much. This team is very good (especially on D), but also clearly flawed. Good enough to make the playoff, but not good enough right now to go far IMO. You won’t be able to beat good teams without a kicker, and the offensive play call gaffes will matter exponentially more.

CJ showing some regression but I still have the utmost confidence in him going forward. Malachi Fields growing into that bonafide #1 role is huge. Happy for him. Every week new defenders are showing up. Last week Ausberry. This week Shuler. I also thought Talich played a good game. Chris Ash has really done a great job with this defense. We want coaches that build and grow their teams. He’s done that. Guys are getting better. Fun to watch

If we do anything against Cuse or Stanford to lose the spot, then this isn't a playoff team and our eyes lied to us for the last 8 games. I think our lack of kicking and red zone offense hampers our chances to make too much noise this year, but we deserve the shot.
