What a joke! Sandusky was like 13 years ago, right? Can't use that excuse. Plus they got a slap on the wrist for that one, NCAA went back and nixed all their punishments after about a year. They even gave them back all the wins for covering up a pedophile, while we didn't get ours for self reporting a few academic issues. I'll never let that go, it's just disgusting.

These fuckers better drop at least 13-14 spots after losing to winless UCLA. If they're somehow above us after we were a combined 4 points behind two Top 10 teams...that would be some bullshit.

14? These fuckers better drop out of the rankings entirely!

They've beaten zero Power 4 teams to date, and just lost to a team who wasn't just 0-4 but hadn't even led a game to that point.

Of course. It isn't so much the means justifying the ends, it's the blatant denial of what happened and who knew what and when. Complete and blatant ignoring the truth of what went on all of those years.

I think if the majority of PSU fans just admit that Paterno was wrong people would be able to just move on from it, but the fact that so many of them still revere him is what pisses a lot of decent people off. Then you have this Terry Smith guy sporting the tribute on his jacket and it starts all over again. It's a brilliant PR move on his part, because he's won over a large portion of this fanbase by doing it and doesn't really care if he alienates anyone outside of that bubble. Smith has lit a fire with the masses, and if he doesn't get the job, he will have the support of the mob and who knows what the backlash looks like. Depending on who they hire.

It's the definition of a cult.
