Operation KKK

This is another hacker job right? It's hard for me to wrap my head around the KKK having digital databases on their members... I so picture them as backwoods and word of mouth, not wanting to leave any trails and such...

They have prominent websites and web businesses (obviously not called "KKK") all over the internet. Dylan Roof frequented many of them. It would not shock me if Anon hacked into these websites or got a list of twitter followers, email lists, etc.

Guy Fawkes, the English Catholic who plotted to restore a Catholic monarch to the throne of England.

The 5th of November will now be used to expose prominent figures who have ties to the Ku Klux Klan, an abominable organization notorious for (among other things) ardent anti-Catholicism.

Is it irony? Or am I confusing irony for another word?

That's where I see the problem here. "The "having ties" part. How close of a relationship counts as bad action? If a politician is part of (Hello, former Sen. Robert Byrd) the KKK, that's obviously bad. If a politician knowingly helps, supports, or receives support from a KKK org, that's bad. But what if it's more along the ling of, politician receives support form an individual in that person's capacity that does not involve the KKK. However, it comes to light that the supporter is in the KKK but said politician did not know about it. So the politician gets tarred with the "friend of the Klan" label because he had the misfortune of having contact with a person who had a secret life that the politician was not privy to. But, of course, all most people will see and believe is "Senator Whoever is part of the KKK!"

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the KKK has a mailing list with email addresses of all members of congress and sends them communications all the time. Some of them may reply even disagreeing, but the klan could then say they have communicated with the Senator or Congressman trying to give credibility to their claims of Senators and Congressmen being members are closely affiliated.

Link to the release:

Official OpKKK HoodsOff 2015 Data Release - Pastebin.com

I dont see anyone really exposed. Maybe I should try more names. All the Facebook pages that they linked that I looked at had pictures about white power, nazism, or KKK so they weren't exactly hiding it. Just looked like all ignorant skinheads from the south who had like a dozen Facebook friends each

I can pretty much guess how that plays out simply based on party affiliation...

I love to lurk on Stormfront now and then.

It's absolutely fascinating. I spend a lot of time lurking "Men's Rights" (gamergate, redpill) boards too. It's pretty much the same language.

Awesome stuff. Know thine enemy; and all that sort of thing.

I'm too scared to peek at those sites. Feel like the FBI will be knocking on my door a few minutes later.

I thought that too, but it's not the case. If it was, a lot of what they're talking about would be right. You don't get watched just for looking around on those boards, you get watched for saying the insane shit that some of them do.

Rightfully so, too.

Big Brother is watching you. I picture them now. Knocking on your door. "Mr. Steelhead, we're from the FBI. We'd like for you to answer some questions. Is Irish Envy just a cover for the KKK?"

KKK, no.
IE is a secret front for Tea Party extremists headed up buy deep cover activist Buster Bluth.

Absolutely shocked that there was a big letdown and essentially nothing of any significance from the work of a bunch of guys who post Guy Fawkes memes and surf Facebook during their refractory periods while sitting alone in their parents' basement. Shocked!
