Let the rock music play during introductions and pre kickoffs.
They way they're using it now SUCKS.

Celtic Chant honestly takes away from making noise. I for one when drunk have a hard time moving my arms and yelling at the same time.


Joking aside, I really don't like when they play celtic chant on third downs. Really does knock down the noise level as all it is is arm motions.

I was able to sneak into the student section for this game (I was at the USC game too) and the music was used much better this game. In previous blowouts, the students usually lose interest in making noise, but the music kept them in it until the end. I think they're still searching for the correct balance of band music to playing music over the speaker, but I think it is really enhancing the crowd atmosphere. I was previously against the jumbotron/music thing, but after seeing it in action, I'm quickly changing my mind, as long as it is done correctly.

The students went crazy for crazy train. They need to use that as a novelty thing for whenever we REALLY need a third down stop. But we can't use it more than once or MAYBE twice a game.

Seems like they are slowly expanding the playlist, but they should stay away from repeats and ask the students what they want to hear, because I think the crowd would go WILD for "Levels" by Avicii

I was there too.
They only played Crazy Train once,near the end of the 4th quarter.
I got sooooo fired up listening to 'Shipping up to Boston' a couple times....there is no better song besides the Victory March to play in that stadium.
