Team excited about win and also how they won the game. Wasn't giddy, but excited about how they earned the win. Slept well on plane.

"It wasn't a giddy group, it was a group that felt like they earned the win and celebrated accordingly."

BK: Pitt QB tino sunseri is playing the best football of his career.

We're trying to get to an offense with great balance with Golson in there. Injuries have slowed progress.

Reality is you want to win games convincingly, but it's a moot point to talk style.

Last night was on point-smart, disciplined and be physically and mentally there.

Irish came out of the OU game clean medically, including Bennett Jackson's shoulder and Matthias Farley's hand.

For Golson it's about realization of having discipline and real solid mechanics to make progress.

Golson made a decision that this coaching is going to help me and I'm going to take it to heart on the QB's improvement.

Golson is picking up things as we continue to develop him.

Golson more assertive and taking control with teammates. Picked up how important it is.

3 down lineman last night dropped 8 into coverage...had to do with game play vs. OU. Matching fronts with coverages.

Prince doesn't like playing out there. He wants his hand on the ground. He wasnt to go get the QB.

D Daniels: he competed. Need that every single play. We're demanding that from him.

Needed to make OU one-dimensional and allowed us to do things in secondary and with linebackers.

Elliotts relationship with Diaco played primary role with bringing him on staff this year. Assistants are best staff I've had.

Noise will continue to get louder and louder this year. If we listen to it we'll lose.

Tackling of secondary and freshmen impressed Kelly.

BK: feels like communication issues on the O-line have been cleaned up. Was a focus this week.

_______________
Bob Stoops was very complimentary of ND in his post game presser. Classy in defeat.

Reviewing what we've learned with Keith.

3. Manti Te’o wrote another chapter in his legend, and forced his name into the Heisman conversation.
In a week where Manti Te’o‘s stock off the field pushed further through the ceiling after this story came to light, the senior linebacker played a game for the ages on Saturday night, making a dozen tackles, sacking quarterback Landry Jones once, and catching an acrobatic interception that helped ice the game for the Irish.
At this point, we’re running out of superlatives for Te’o, with us half-expecting him to rescues a cat from a tree at halftime. But on Saturday night, he raised the bar again, showing himself to be one of the country’s most complete players, making tackles in space, playing well in coverage, getting after the quarterback, and helping shut down the Sooners running game in Notre Dame’s biggest game of the seasn.
A Heisman Trophy candidate is only as good as his football team. Usually that’d disqualify a Notre Dame player’s candidacy, as it did with Brady Quinn in 2005. But with the Irish 8-0 and Te’o playing at his best in front of a national audience, the Heisman chatter should rightfully turn itself into a full-fledged conversation.

Five things we learned: Notre Dame 30, Oklahoma 13 | Inside the Irish

And a great story about Manti.

Not tooting the horn, but I said the Irish would win because they have the "it" factor. Dismiss all you want, but I saw it in Ara's teams and Kelly is duplicating what Ara did. This is a true TEAM, with mental resolve. The answer to OU's TD said it all.

The OU fans that posted on here were generally very respectful (had that one Sybil-like 'dude' with multiple handles who had to be banned), and from what I have heard from others the reception at the game was an across the board hit. Hope you guys run the table and somehow win the B-12 championship (which would be good for us as well since that would mean a KSU loss or two).

Look forward to the game next year, and trust that your fans will be treated with similar courtesy in South Bend.

Respect your team and your coach. Haven't seen it yet, but heard that Coach Stoops was respectful in his press conference (and not whining about the refs/etc like some of your fans/messageboard posters; and, we have those types too).

As our week was led off by a thread about Coach Kelly on one of the OU boards, all in good fun. Thought we could return the favor by highlighting the Top-12 (in the spirit of the name of your conference if not the number of teams) excuses that Coach Stoops was offered by the OU communications staff to convey at his post-game press conference (all in good fun of course; some of these poke fun at our fans too, as well as your rival):

12)Was so caught-up LOL-ing watching Texas struggle in their nail-biter with that tough Kansas team; didn't get to the field until 7:59pm ET
11)Tried to follow the advice from that Leon-drummer-dude on Gameday and 'run it down ND's throat'. To paraphrase Peyton Manning: "Idiot picker"
10)We like to run considerably more plays than our opponents. Unfortunately, during our first drive, our center ran one more play than our QB
9)Had seen the stats on ND's running game and told my brother that "we need a defensive scheme that circles the wagons and stops ND from running". He came to me Friday morning with: "we can only find one frickin' wagon". Clearly, I hired the wrong brother.
8)We were just unlucky that Kenny Stills' PMS cycle coincided with the game
7)Trying to be proactive, I worked on my gameplanning last Saturday afternoon by reading the Irish Envy BYU gameday thread during ND's game against the Cougars. I was convinced from reading that thread that ND would be no threat to us
6)I was unable to get any good coaching advice this week from OUR messageboards, as all of our fans were posting on THEIR messageboards
5)IrishPat183 swore to me that ND had no home run threat in their backfield with GAIII out of the game. Pat's clearly better at rating safety prospects for the NFL draft - and I don't mean that as a compliment about his NFL evaluation skills
4)"Hello!!" (translation: I spent my entire week trying to recruit a kid who has a viral youtube video)
3)I was working on raising our graduation rates above 50%; what were you fighting for?
2)Interrupted during critical points of the game by both Jason White, and then Billy Sims. They were filling out their Heisman ballots and wanted to know how to spell Manti Te'o
1)Clearly THEIR "Play Like a Champion" sign works better than ours.

:)

Good luck the rest of the season, and in your (hopefully BCS) bowl game

Not sure if this was posted here by anyone (or anywhere last few games), but where is the link for the full box score/game details? The one that shows downs played, etc. I think there's a comprehensive one for the season as well.

Anyone?

I know I (and others) would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks.

I'm looking for the one that shows tackles, snaps played, etc. though.

Nitpicking and maybe it's already been said, but the opening to the game (the one with the political theme) sucked. Usually they pump up the audience. On this one, I just sat there like WTF.

Thought the same exact thing. A game that big and they pull out that crap? Weak.
