How is Pitt's secondary supposed to be? I remember Paris Ford, Damar Hamlin and Jason Pinnock from the recruiting process, and I thought I remembered seeing Ford/Hamlin get some hype as a safety duo. Can't say I've watched them before today besides the end of the Lousiville game and I wasn't really paying attention to them on either occasion.
Because Clemson will likely stifle our rushing attack similarly to how Pitt did today. Hopefully we can still come through with clutch conversions on the ground like we did today, even if we don't rack up the yards. But, if today was just a case of facing a weak Pitt secondary, we might really struggle against Clemson's DBs once we are forced into passing downs (newsflash).
Book wasn't great, he was actually quite frustrating again, but he wasn't a disaster this time. Wouldn't give him the B+ Diz did but B-/C+ for sure, which is a step up for him this season. If Pitt's secondary is a strength, that is a real step in the right direction.
