I’m biased but I also watch a ton of CFB on tv. Tirico & Brees are easily my favorite tandem. I couldn’t say that on any tandem ND had before.

I liked Tirico & Dungy better, but honestly anybody but Hammond or Flutie. Couldn't stand either.

Navy players were talking a whole lotta shit all game long yesterday. I don’t remember them being like that in the past.

They lined up like Navy but behaved like sparty, I was very disappointed in their behavior particularly on that somewhat late tackle on Williams out of bounds and then their taunting of him on the ground that led to the Patterson personal foul

The LB on Navy literally tried to twist Kyren’s ankle on the ground… scumbag move. I’m sick of people pretending that Navy is “honorable” when they are routinely one of the dirtiest teams we play.

It was a beautiful day for a game in November. Pleased to see the crowd energy for a Navy game. My favorite part was the ND band playing sea shanties. Loved it!!!!

Tired of them as an opponent. It’s a lose/lose every year. ND should offer a compromise w/ the reason being that the ACC contractual agreement is too cumbersome to ensure Navy is included. If they have to play, insist that it be the opener every season. If Navy can’t make that happen, then schedule them when they can. Hell, no one really cried when Covid prevented them from playing last season. ND should state their case, demand it be the opener or not at all & move on.

could be paradigm paralysis but in the past dirty or chippy teams just take shots. But this season the extra dirty nonsense has seemed particularly targeted towards the high profile team leader captains Kyren and Hamilton.

I missed where people were complaining about trash talking.

I watched that dude stand over Kyren and try to twist his knee off... then his friend flop over like he got shot when JP brushed up against to to stop it.

Dirty AF and if that had been any other team, it probably would have got national coverage.

But not our heros from Navy. Fuck them.

What a painful game to watch. The first 2 1/2 quarters were like pulling teeth without novocaine.

Thoughts
D played great. Liked how Freeman crowded the box.
We got the good Austin.
Team just kept plugging away.
Size wore the Middies down.
Keep getting freshmen playing time. They look like they will deliver big time next year.
Still scratching my head on Lenzy.
Coan looked dazed and confused for most of the game. He wasn't reading the defense.
Liked how they ran the same play to Austin for the TD. BK said they rarely run the same play twice so close together. Did BK call it the second time or did Tommy?
8-1 during a rebuild. You gotta love it.
