Clemson is down multiple starters and has lost multiple games to teams worse than ND.

They aren't playing out of their minds. ND is laying the duddiest of duds.

They move the ball 3 times into scoring position and settle for FG's each time.

Hartman misses several open looks and throws a horrid pick that results in 7.

Tyree muffs a punt, and there's another shank job punt that sets Clemson up in ND territory, resulting in 10 more.

The defense spends an entire drive with backups in the secondary, miscommunication abound, Clemson drives it down the field for 7.

Every single point Clemson scored was off of sheer idiocy or horrid execution from ND and the coaches. Every. Single. Point.

Meanwhile, Hartman and the interior OL are really trying to out-suck their Louisville performance.

Hartman is a C+ QB. Yes he made some good deep throws but also receivers made some great catches. That pass attempt that got batted down if Hartman steps around that rusher he completes that pass.
2 turn over gave Clemson and easy 14.
OC has to go.

I've noticed that we come out of the gate looking decent offensively each week, but there's typically one shit play call that kills all momentum. It's like there's a clear moment where Parker crumbles.

For me it was a 2nd and 2 early on. You could see a Parker run call coming from forever a way. Clemson did too. Hit for a big loss and since then, a stomping.

What I’ve noticed, and it’s REALLY STUPID, is ND has been playing the 1st string DL with the 2’s in the secondary & the 1st string secondary with the 2’s on the DL (except the opening drive).

It’s like Freeman is trying really hard to get more players in the game, probably for recruiting knowing him, and it’s a dumpster fire.

Florida State played mistake free football and beat Clemson in OT.

Nobody penciled this as an auto W regardless of circumstances. It was winnable, you just had to show up and play. We have not done that, and it doesn’t look like they will.

Besides OSU, this was the only “big boy team” on the schedule. USC is a powder puff team with athletes.

No you didn’t what? Re-read your post. I know full damn well how good CLemson is. I picked them to beat ND by 3 (look at the prediction thread) despite Vegas, despite Tyler from Spartanburg, despite ND’s dominant D vs Clemson’s makeshift OL & turnover prone QB. This ain’t the NFL. Dabo got his guys up for this week. Freeman did not. Inexcusable. Anything less than 10 wins is a disappointment

It’s the trade up for using their emotions to get up for big home games unfortunately. Everyone hated BK’s not too high it too low approach but it’s the right one

Genuinely had no idea why anyone would feel confident against a good Clemson defense when this is Notre Dame’s offense.

Fans are different. Some are Pollyannish, some are negative Nellies, some are “wait & see”. I grew up following Coach Holtz so I’ll always be seen as negative b/c I look for ways ND will lose. I’m seeing a Buddhist about it but it is what it is. After today (barring a miracle); I will not be nearly as confident as I was pregame that ND would win out.

Yep and then come out and the WR need to get open downfield, and Hartman needs to hit them and they need to run for yards after the catch for TD. Repeatedly.
