Nah. I'm afraid Clemson holds the crown by a wide margin those regards.

Clemson has yet to have a single game this season where they averaged more than 5.6 yards per play against an FBS opponent.

I know its fun to laugh at Clemson's expense...but this will likely be a 5-7 point spread according to Vegas (in favor of the good guys)
No shipley (likely) is a big advantage for us.
However, Clemson has talent for days, and likely the last chance a lot of their guys have to put good tape out there for the draft.
We're going to get a big effort, and hopefully our boys are ready to go on the road.
10-2 (with hopefully a NY6 Bowl bid) would be a very good season, and next weekend is likely the last big hurdle to make that possible.

Yeah, I'm not buying the Stanford hype. Them playing Washington close is nothing, because Washington should've lost to ASU last week at home. Washington has not looked good since Lanning handed them a win in Seattle. I really think Oregon was the better team, and will likely beat them in the re-match in the Pac-12 title.

As for Clemson, if Shipley is out (which I'd be shocked if he wasn't), then ND shouldn't have any issue winning. Clemson's defense is good, but ND should have enough to wear them down. Clemson's offense is bad WITH Shipley. Without them, they are a rudderless ship that's caught ablaze, lost at sea.
