Agreed, seems like much ado about nothing. A small concern about whoever plays Buck missing some run fits. And a couple ill timed missed assignments could change the game. With that said, I expect the DL to control the LOS.

Driskell didn’t say unequivocally that there was a trend. He noted that based on Northwestern’s trend of success in November in recent years, ND should plan as if having more of a run game past few games is a trend. I took it as “don’t assume NW won’t have enough success running it to keep ND off balance”.

Northwestern has seemed to play up/down to competition. ND has been guilty of playing down to competition at least three times and NW is better than all three of those teams. Irish better not take anything for granted.

If (when) I get an elk and there was some reasonable way to get the sausage to you, I would... no charge... it's illegal to sell wild game in Canada.

If you are ever up this way (Western Canada), let me know... I will make it happen.

You could always stream it to him on WatchESPN.

But you'll have to include several plugs for the SEC.

An important stat that goes against our typical post Navy blues is that no defensive lineman played more than 30 snaps last week.
