Had chance at beginning of season to make plans for this, regret now not doing so.
Have been to games at Stanford before...kind of weird...maybe because it's Thanksgiving weekend? Usually plenty of ND fans.

Any advice for up there? I'm familiar with the bay but more curious about gameday stuff

I am watching the Stamford game and rooting for injuries.

I will pray for forgiveness at church tomorrow.

Going to be very, very tough to beat them without Prosise. Sucks to lose Russell too, but I think Prosise is the bigger loss. Adams isn't as good in blitz pickup and isn't near the threat in the passing game that Prosise is.

We're going to have to bring our A game to win. We don't have to be perfect, but we certainly can't afford to play like we have the last couple of weeks. It's a winnable, but very difficult, game.

I've mentioned this in a few threads. It seems like Adams has hit a wall and his pass blocking has not been good.

I think you have to play Amir in the backfield a bit. Let Hunter play slot all day.

gonna get smoked

Good. Hope the team hears how they are not good enough to be in the playoffs. How they have to many injuries to beat Stanford.

Then they come out on fire and smack Stanford.

Gta think knowing it's win and in brings an extra level next week. But man are we depleted on the roster.

Standford does concern me in that they are the ultimate 3 yards and a cloud.

However it looks like we should be able to move the ball on their D.

But since we won't have it much we can't afford another turnover plagued night.

Side thought:

Who was the cal legacy wr we recruited hard? He still play there and did he do much for them?

I think this is finally the game where Kizer's bad decisions come back to bite us. I just think he's not ready for this yet. Really hope I'm wrong though, because there is not a person I hate more in CFB than David Shaw. He's a smug asshole.

Oh god we have to listen to Fox giving Stanford a blowjob all game. You guys can say what you want about ESPN and the SEC but Fox with the Pac 12 and especially the Big XII this year is nauseating.

I wouldn't mind Gus giving a bj all game, means he wouldn't be able to talk.

Final 35-22

McCaffrey had 192 yes on 29 carries with no run longer than 24 yes

He also was SU's leading receiver with 1 catch for 49 yds.

And he broke the SU record for All-Purpose Yds.

I feel like he had 9 carries for 70 in garbage time.

192 yds/29 carries = 6.6 ypc

Subtracting your 9 carries for 70 yds leaves 122 yds/20 or 6.1 ypc.

Not much difference.

The longest run of only 24 yds was what caught my eye. That means he was productive on most of his runs that's unusua. Frequently you find a RB has a big game by knocking off one or two big gains of 50 or more yds and than a bunch of 2 or 3 yd carries. I haven't checked the play by play but it seems like he was gashing chunk plays frequently.

According to this past week's Sagarin Predictor, SU should be about a 2 point favorite at home over ND.
