I cannot imagine any logical reason for this. . . This also scares me. It's the little things like this during a game that become red flags over time. How does a Division I College Football coach make an error like this?

For 2.5 quarters Tommy was trying to be offensive genius with all his motions and horizontal play calling, all while only using RBs and a TE and a D3 QB. It was dumb, but he did it all year. The QB room is his fault and we have at least 1 more year of mediocre play from that position.

I'm expecting him back next year, unfortunately.

I had us at 9-3.
We went 8-4.

Who knows what’s going to happen in the bowl game, but honestly I feel pretty good about our trajectory, provided we figure out the QB position.

Tommy didn’t call a perfect game, but he called a game good enough to give us a chance to win. Fucking Pyne started 15/15 and we were still down ten lol.

Defense wasn’t good. The secondary needs to improve. I think X Watts can be a really good safety for us. Maybe Henderson. We really need Bowen back there as a true frosh.

Linebackers need replaced. Jack Kiser is a great kid but he just is not a fit for this scheme for whatever reason. Bertrand isn’t a fit for any scheme. I thought the DL had great pressure for three quarters, but got gassed.

The tackling wasn’t good and that 3-3-5 go punched in the mouth at the point of attack.

Some fun games this year and some that weren’t. Only one team hoists the trophy and as long as it isn’t Michigan or SC in the end, I’ll be okay since it won’t be us.

Yeah, not a great idea. If you need to win it with a 2 point conversion, do it after you miraculously scored 9 unanswered points with an an onside kick at and have all the momentum

ND started the season versus the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and ended it with the Heisman winner and the 1st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, if it wasn’t the QB they faced mid season.


The last thing I’m jumping off is Freeman/Golden defensively. They’ll be more than fine.

Same. Marcus deserves the opportunity to bring in a good Offensive Coordinator, a quality grad transfer QB, and make the necessary personnel changes on defense.

I hope he gets all of these chances too, but the reality is this program is once again a step behind and we will always be the loavable losers until we stop fighting with one arm tied behind our back due to vague, nebulous holier than thou bullshit.
