How to watch Notre Dame on the PAC-12 Network for Free
Dang. Just signed up for FUBO yesterday. And it is tricky. Don’t get the lowest package (Pro?)…get next one up (ELITE?). I signed up for basic b/c it had PAC12 logo as one of the networks. Then after signing up and getting more info, it’s simply a P12 highlights channel or some shit. Went back and adjusted plan to next tier & it included all the P12…specifically P12 Bay Area which has the game

Because 10-2 pretty much gets us in…. That needs to be more than 5 times in the next 10 years … Kelly would have made it at a 50% Clip, with that increasing towards his end of tenure. I expect better than Kelly.

Bama, Clemson Ohio state, Georgia would be making it at a 90% clip
Correct, that’s four teams. And while Clemson has done that in the past I’d also argue they are unlikely to replicate that in the expanded playoff era.

I added Elite and still don’t see it. Just the rerun Pac12. Are you sure it’s Elite or one of their others?

We should control this game unless we just completely soil ourselves and not tackle and give up special team freebies. This is not a Stanford of old squad. There are no McCaffrey's, Luck's or Hogan's. Finish strong men.

In case anyone is struggling with Fubo, I learned you must buy the additional $10 sports package on top of the normal subscription. That was the only way I could get the game. So, I have it. I was about to miss my first game in 30 years. Not so fast. At this subscription rate I probably could have bought a ticket and flown out there. Piece out Pac12. Don’t let the door hit ya in the arse.

Did Kelly ever have to navigate a schedule as difficult as MF has had to do this year? Pretty remarkable if you ask me, and that's with Jerry Porker calling the offense.
MF has to do something with this guy during the off season! He's a liability as an OC and everyone knows that!

Then ND wouldn’t have gone 55-9 the next 5 seasons with 2 CFPs, a NY6 game and two other Bowl wins.
That’s why fans don’t make decisions.
And he cost us a National title or playoff appearance because of keeping vangorder

Our schedule doesn’t look as tough on paper anymore. But Kelly mostly had easier schedules

Wonder who calls the plays Saturday night?
Ted Robinson has play-by-play. I read where he’s an ND alum. Never heard of him.

Yogi Roth is the color analyst. He’s a Cali guy but played WR at Pitt. I think he was also an asst at SC in the Poodle Era.

That’s complete speculation on your part. For all anyone knows, they could’ve done even better than that.

This year was easier than expected

USC a joke and Clemson with 4 losses going into game ….
2 teams wayyy easier than expected, Louisville much more difficult

ND wasn’t winning a national title in 2015.
Just stop.
ND was a 7-5 program for 15 years before BK, a 10-2 program with BK, & a 9-3 program since.
So he took a dumpster fire and made it successful, and the coach since took a successful program & made it above average.

His only weakness was recruiting.

Oh and appointing the right coaching staff.

And getting the team ready for big games.

And playing in wet weather.

Really?
We have gone 8-4, and hopefully 9-3 since.
So does Tommy Rees convince BK to not take a portal QB like he did w/ Freeman last season? I give credit to Rees for what he did w/ two horrible QBs but it cost them at least 2 games. MF felt burned which is why he’s not satisfied w/ standing pat this offseason. BK is a great HC but he failed consistently in bringing in + developing an elite QB. TR is a really smart play caller but he’s not impressed w/ talent evaluation at QB either.

I‘m not sold on MF yet but I ain’t cutting & running after 2 seasons yet either. No way BK was ever going to take ND any further than he had. He proved that when he left for an a factory that recruits itself…smart on his part. He left ND in a good place except at the most crucial place…QB. I’m thankful for BK but I don’t miss him either.

They went 10-2 regular season, 11-1 gets them in the playoffs they gave up 38 points to Stanford

From this Stanford game I want
1. A big win that humiliates stanford
2. Steve Angeli and or the other young QB to play most of the game.
3. The centre and other young oline to look good again.
4. Big games from Tobias, Faison and Tyree (the fast dudes).

I’m not a BK fan but i acknowledge he’s currently a significantly better coach than freeman. Kelly wasn’t good enough, I expect better. My point is if freeman isn’t good enough to go 10-2 or better continuously, move the F on, and get the right coach.
You’re right about BK never getting over the hump at ND. I assume you were screaming from the rooftops that ND shouldn’t go w/ MF when he was named BK’s replacement? So you wanted Fickel. I think the jury is still out on both as successful P5 HC.

Correct. They likely weren’t going to be in the NC but they definitely missed an opportunity to be in the CFP. Van Gorder knew defense but he couldn’t teach/coach it. The Stanford loss was inexcusable considering it was year six w/ the Program. Arguably the best QB BK ever had at ND and they pissed it away in 2016

I’m not a BK basher but can we stop acting like he took over at Temple and had his success? He took over after some bad hires at Notre Fucking Dame. I’ll always be thankful for what he did getting us to the CFP and BCS and getting blown out each time, but let’s cut the bullshit. He’s a good football coach who woke a giant back up.

Ted Robinson has been doing games forever. He was on the ND basketball beat back in the Digger years. Yes he is an ND grad and good at the job.
Yogi is a total PAC12/USC homer. Wonder who he'll be working for next year. Probably high school games on Bally.

Yes, really. No one has any way to say with any certainty the success BK had might have or might have not been replicated by someone else.

That’s how I feel about Saban.
Particularly since Kirby is now doing the same thing with the same methods (recruit all of the best) at Georgia.
