Yeah, let's increase his workload and his opportunities not to be available for the playoffs just so that ND can puff their chest and send a player to NY to not win a trophy. Yep. Crazy move by Fran Brown. I this is a lost year for them and he's playing a bunch of freshman but they are scholarship guys who were recruited by many teams. Filardi is not.
Filardi did take the Cuse on a 75 yard drive vs Miami. Of course it was 38-3 with 2 minutes left in the game!
Richie Collins took over when Angeli got hurt. He did have some 200 yard games this year. He's bad but he's got to be better than Filardi.

Notre Dame has played Syracuse five times since 2008 and beaten them every single one of those five, yet one individual is having a meltdown over the 2008 game and several other losses among the other 340 losses the program has endured in it's history.
