Can't wait! Just about 66 hours or so until my flight leaves for Chicago. A quick culinary tour of some of my favorite Chicago places and then I am heading east on Friday.

If you had told me when I booked this trip several months ago that I would be flying out to see an UNDEFEATED Notre Dame team, I would have thought you were nuts!

Would it be too hard to try to meet up at Legends or something Friday night? I am bringing my two kids for their first visit. My son is big into the band and I want him to see the Irish Trumpets that afternoon, then head to the pep rally. Though I might take them to Legends for supper after that. I am staying at a hotel in South Bend but am not real familiar with good restaurants in the town itself. If any of you knows of one that would be a good joint to grab some grub and meet up, feel free to list it.

Not going, but I will ALWAYS recommend Barnabys. Family style pizza place, looks like you stepped right into 1969. Big side by side tables that make it really easy to sit together in large groups. Great pizza, great atmosphere. Corner of Grape and Edison, 5 minutes from campus.

with the last few weeks and how we play at home ill be nervous about this one. I hope we win so we can send this great class out of south bend with a W. We have come so far now any losses at this point is unacceptable. We cant lose senior night, we cant let those piece of **** condoms beat us and make their lifetime and we cannot lose the bowl. Im more nerrvous now than I was at the start of the season.

I have three things that I want to see happen yet this year. One of them is Teo' loading up at the goal line and punching one in. The other two is a perfect regular season/beating an SEC team in a bowl. If I could have all three I'd forgo a national championship this particular year. I know all you guys are saying this guy is out of his mind-but as for me I do not need a poll to tell me how good this bunch of 'Irish' are. If they run the table it was by far the best schedule in the country-not even close.

They showed the last few player introductions last year. The big name guys like Gray, Floyd, Harrison Smith, etc.
