What is the fascination with a hurry up spread? Bama won a championship with a very pedestrian pro-style system. Auburn the year before ran a spread but not a hurry up, and LSU the year before that ran a conventional system. I don't see value in playing outside of your strength for the sake of saying you did it.

At the same time I think Kelly is prepping for USC. With their ability to score almost at will, the long, sustained 8 minute drives can be the difference in winning and losing.

Was it "pretty" last night, no, but we scored on two of our three first half possessions, shortened the game and forced BC to execute perfectly with pressure knowing that we could go 10 to 15 plays and be patient and grind out a drive. There is more to be said about that then we have really given Kelly credit for.

Auburn ran a no-huddle pretty fast spread offense.

I personally love a spread no huddle hurry up offense but one can't complain with 10-0.

I just watched the ICON where Shembo got the game ball...it appears he doesn't know the words.

Kelly may be holding some things in reserve, but I don't think so. He may bring out two or three plays for USC but I don't think you will see a big change in the O.

You play to your strengths. As the old saying goes, "You dance with the girl you brought to the dance". Trying to close out an undefeated season isn't the time to unleash a big change in the offense. No matter how many reps you give it in practice, it's never the same as when you go against an opponent.

Any changes will be more subtle. Run the play from a new formation, change the motion man, etc..

BC spanking VT right now. You know, the same VT team that last week should've beaten Jimbo's "awesome" Florida State team.... because they pass the "eye test."
