Unless you mean comparatively from what they've done in the transfer portal, then yes, they are. But, they need to be that aggressive in the portal because there roster has so many holes. ND doesn't need to be as aggressive, only just selective with far fewer needs.

ND wasn't recruiting the McCulloughs, and really have only lost Peyton Bowen to OU.

I disagree. You have Cross, Bothelo, Mills, and Rubio. That’s not scaring any offense. Not to mention, Lacey transferring to OU.

Ideally (IMO) we would still land one interior DL that could play rotational snaps (Smith-esque) and a good Vyper type of player. If we can’t land two transfers in a critical position like this, then we deserve what we get next season.

Speaking of DL, appears Aidan may be transferring after the bowl game. Poster on 247 in the Catalon thread is saying he’s gone after the game. Yikes for the DL next year.

Interesting about Aidan. Prister (I think) said something about him that seemed pessimistic. It may have been him preparing us for it

Most of that is potential. Did Ademilola say he’s coming back? Maybe I missed that, but don’t think he’s announced anything yet. They need at least two transfers. Vyper and a DT to replace Smith.

They’d rather sit in their dorm even though they are an injury away from starting then see it out.

Find another key to hit, bud. Other position coaches at ND are reeling in top 100 kids and developing talent currently here. Al Washington is doing neither in 2022 and has to prove himself in 2023.

Rising senior, played in 1 game, 3 games, and 1 game over the last 3 seasons and tore his ACL last spring. Nowhere near seeing the field.
