Notre Dame Pro Day

Notre Dame's Pro Day is tomorrow March 31st and I figured we could start a thread to talk about any news that comes out of it. Something of interest for me is that out of the 11 prospects that will be in attendance, 6 didn't play on last years team.

Wow, Ethan Johnson? That's the most surprising name on the list imo. He's been out of it for a few years, just saw this interesting write up from Rolling Stone last fall:

This is going to weak year ND and the draft. I wouldn't be surprised at all if ND doesn't have one player drafted.

Yeah, it certainly isn't a star studded list of names, but I think at least a few will get drafted. Cody Riggs could be one, maybe Koyack goes in a late round. DD probably has the most to prove, if he can answer some questions then someone may take a chance on him given his dad's NFL background and measurables...plus WRs can often find a home. He's definitely a long shot at this point though. I'm not sure anyone else will get a serious look.

Yeah, Koyack will be drafted 3-5 rounds. Riggs I can see maybe in the late rounds. Brindza and Daniels will probably go undrafted but get signed.

Deep WR draft makes it a tough draw for DD. Would be an excellent 6-7 round pick or complete steal as an UDFA.

Agree. The odd thing about this IMO is that DD is better at his position than the rest of them are at theirs. I see Bellichek picking him up late or in free-agency and making him a star in that offense.
