Same...and annoying! There are A LOT of quality games today...#2 vs. #5, #3 vs. #9, #1 vs. #11, #4 vs. #12, #6 vs. #15, #10 vs. #20... and not one of them is on a non payable stream. Just unfortunate...and quite stupid!

You gotta be unhappy with how the O got almost completely locked down after Georgetown made adjustments after ND got up 6-0. This year has tons of parity and there is no super team so a win is a win. They aren't all going to be pretty and the defense overall had a better showing than the first two weeks. More saves, more low quality shots surrendered, better slides.

My two cents….though I will always default to Lax and others who have been around the game far longer than I (would like to think my analysis has improved over time).

Always a tough challenge when a game like this is both your first game outdoors and at the same time your first game against a high quality opponent.

Georgetown in particular loves to clamp down on the crease and make it extremely difficult for Jake Taylor to score and others to get easy access inside. This can throw a wrench into a lot of offenses (see even just us last year), especially when you are still gelling as a team.

I think there’s a lot of value from a game like this (though obviously would’ve preferred to cruise): the boys faced some adversity, rose up to meet it, and very clearly know they need to improve their turnovers and GBs as Maryland and the rest of the schedule picks up.

Very encouraged by Ricciardelli, and am still amazed at the sheer depth of quality midfield scorers we have, especially with Faison and Jeffrey back.

I think the reality of not having the undisputed best goalie in the game is setting in and my expectations of winning every game with ease have to be tempered

My daughter and I went to the game today and were able to sit right behind the Irish. It was really cool to see how these guys encouraged one another throughout the game. As the team gathered gear after the game, Kavanagh gave my daughter a ball. She was in complete awe of the kind gesture.

I was able to take my two boys to Philly last spring to witness the NC win- amazing experience. Since my son started to play lax a couple of years ago, our family has fallen in love with the sport. 🥍🍀

*sidenote: get your kids or grandkids into wrestling. Doing so will make you want to get a subscription to FloWrestling. And with it, will come the ability to watch lacrosse and all the Flo sports are included.

We got zero out of Jake Taylor yesterday. Hope that’s not a trend. Without going through every game since he entered the lineup I’d guess this has never happened.
