I don't know if i would say I am excited about ND Basketball starting up, but I am pretty anxious.

I would like to see what kind of team takes the floor this year.

The way they ended last year with their new style of holding the ball for ever and taking quality shots.

I'm not sure who will be able to replace Jackson's athleticism, but I have confidence they can compete.

I am a UCONN basketball fan. I am nervous for this Friday when the NCAA basically decides their fate for recruiting violations.

I think ND will have a decent year. Brey Big East Coach of the Year! (For all of you Brey haters haha)

I'm with him. Most likely we will finish 7th or 8th in the Big East and have an early exit in the tourney. Thats even IF we finish that good. Not sure about this team.

I think they should be solid this year. They've already got a great 5 players (Hansbrough, Abromitis, Scott Martin, Nash, Carleton Scott) but just need Atkins to come in and be a stud PG right away. The other frosh, Grant, was rated #105 player by Rivals which is higher than we can usually get so he might see some PT. Sophs Brooks, Broghammer, and Cooley all showed they can at least give a few mins off the bench when need be. Thats 10 guys who all could see significant PT, but Brey will probably whittle it down to 8 guys.

I think they are recruiting some more toughness, I like some of these big guys for ND. I will be going to the open practice Friday at 10. Anyone else?! How come ND doesn't 'do up' midnight madness like other schools?! I'd love to see Bray ride in on a Harley or come down from the rafters ala Izz!

I'm not a big college basketball guy, but I'll watch Notre Dame and root for them if they're on. I just like Minnesota basketball becuase I got to see a lot of games there in the past. I also like Tubby Smith.

that is what i am talking about! went there the last couple times, ND sure likes to make it close, we lost the first time we were there and the fans were jerks, but last year after usf made it interesting we pulled it out and i was happy to get outta there with a win.
