Wow, Pitt and St Louis looking strong. That will be your finals.
Wow, Pitt and St Louis looking strong. That will be your finals.
I think it'll be Rangers vs Canucks.
Rangers are the best team in the east and I'll go with the Canucks and their expirience from last year.
Not a bad pick.
What is going to be interesting is the Philly and Pitt series...cant wait to see that match up, so much bad blood.
Love this time of year.
Yeah its gonna be a nasty one for sure. It's fitting they're playing each other in Jagr and Talbot's 1st year with the Flyers.
I think my Wings are in trouble....Helm is out, Pavel is basically on 1 leg (post knee surgery), and Kindl is a liability on D.
Went to the Hawks-Yotes last night. What a rush of adrenaline to get that tying goal with 15 seconds left, and what a punch in the stomach to lose in OT.
Hawks got bullied all game long. I'm beginning to think we should have kept Big John Scott to keep everyone in check.
Seemed like a lot of hawk fans there
Hawks were very well represented in the stands for sure. Flyers are so resilient. Everything you want in a playoff team right now. I'm hoping them and the Kings don't lay an egg at home, and can at least split the next two games.
Dear Philadelphia Flyers
Please, please sweep them dirty pieces of $hit on Wednesday
So, for my first post in a long time, I had to bring this little bit of joy. I was at the game last night and it was tense, but this hit by Brown turned the game around for the Kings.

Go to the 3:01 mark to watch Henrik try to get back to the bench. Classic! Richards hit on Burrows in Game 1 was pretty good too. Brown has been the man so far this series. He is playing out of his mind!
What a hit. Never thought LA would have to offence to hang with Van, I know Quick is a solid goalie. Good for the Kings.
Quick was awesome last night. He was in perfect position all night. Give the Kings defense some credit too because most of the shots were from the outside. Quick took so many right in to his chest and didn't give up any bad rebounds. 'Nucks had 41 shots, but really not too many great chances.
Well look who it is. Where the f*ck have you been man?
Honestly, not sure where I have been. Work has been kicking my butt. Plus, the wife and I have been in the process of buying a house, so my stress has been through the roof and my time, very limited.
How about your Flyers (sorry ACamp)?!? Schenn and Simmonds look pretty good for you, huh? That was quite a game yesterday. Not sure why Simmonds got the misconduct penalty there at the end. Looked like he was getting ready to go after Neal or Cooke.
Yeah Simmonds had a great regular season too. Schenn had a good one once he got in the lineup got comfortable. But Schenn has been awesome so far in the playoffs.
How bout your Kings? The Canucks are so ridiculously soft and are a bunch of divers, glad to see the Kings taking it to them.
I think they'll take care of it on wednesday. The Canucks body language right now doesn't look good. Plus Quick has been ridiculous.Yeah, there were all sorts of signs there last night like, "Drain the pool" and everytime one of them would fall to the ice, a bunch of people would hold up cards that had "10" and "9.5" and such on them. Pretty funny.
I like this team. I wish they could have won the Pacific, but I think they can do some damage in the playoffs even beyond this round. Canucks are soft, but they are still a talented team. They are very frustrated right now. Wednesday will be interesting. Hoping I get to see the handshake line with the Kings on the winning side of a series. Last two years I have had to watch the opposition celebrate on Staples ice.
I lose so much damn sleep during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Great games so far, alot of sub plots. Love it!
I am starting to think that the Senators are going to take the Rangers the distance.
