He was pretty clutch in the '12 Cup run and then in the lockout shortened '13 season. Last year he kind of disappeared and this year he has been plain awful. An 18 point swing in plus minus tells a huge story.

Yeah i understand about his playoff performance, but if you have an opportunity to get away from that contract I think you have to take it. Shame how far he has dropped, Mike Richards from 2007-2010 was absolutely awesome to watch.

Doesn't help when your goalie is giving up goals on 30% of the shots. God this team has been pathetic. There's only so much suck I can stomach this year. First the Bears, then the Irish, and the Bulls consistently inconsistent displays and now the Hawks are playing with their head up their asses. CAN SOMEBODY WIN IN THIS DAMN CITY!?

3 of the 4 goals Crawford gave up were solely on the defense. The team hasn't been pathetic either. Still in the hunt for the top seed just need to make adjustments.

That means a lot coming from a Yankee fan. We're in a title race with the Kings right now, so tensions are high and the Hawks are currently in dynasty mode. Not winning a Cup is unacceptable. After 49 years of futility, it's time to milk the Kane-Toews era for all it's worth.

Really like the move, our D coring has been brutal as of late. Keith, Seebs, Hjlamar, TVR, Oduya, and Timonen is leaps and bounds better than what is on the ice right now. If Timonen plays anywhere near the Sochi-Timonen this deal is an absolute steal. Now here is to hoping Kane heals quickly and we trade Sharp for a top 6 fwd.

Hawks picked up Vermette from the Yokes today for Klas Dahlbeck and a 1st. Have to assume they will try to resign him with the cap space from moving Bickell and/or Sharp as well as recoup the picks they've traded.

Not sure they have the space.
The Kane and Toews raise kicks in next season.
They'll both be making 10.5 instead of 6.3.
Trading Sharp and Bickell barely covers that.
The Hawks have to move those players and replace with Rockford kids.

Stan just gave away a first for a rental when Kane might not make it back this year.
The injury really hurts since it was they're last run with the current team.
They'll probably be in a 2-3 year down cycle until they can rebuild the core around them.

I dont know, the Wild are one of the hottest teams since January. I'd really like to see them push the Blues, if not beat them. Maybe that's because I'm a Blackhawks fan though.
