On a side note, how did you get so many Vbucks?? I can barely afford a logo on my profile haha

By posting, having people reply to your threads, vbookies, those are ways I know of. Check your pm's.

Just for fun, my 2014 roster:

Parise-Stastny-Kane
Ryan-Pavelski-Kessel
VanRiemsdyk-Kesler (A)-Brown
Pacioretty-Backes (A)-Callahan (C)
Galchenyuk

There are just too many good d-men, had a hard time narrowing it down.
Suter-Yandle
McDonagh-Carlson
J. Johnson-Orpik
Fowler
E.Johnson

Quick
Miller
Anderson
Roster looks good, although I don't see Orpik making it and at this point I see Anderson as the #2 over Miller. I'd have to take some time to look around to make my roster.

I'd also switch Brown and Pacioretty. That "4th" line would be a bitch to play against.

Thanks again!

Yeah you're probably right, Orpik's sort of fallen off this season. I was thinking Jones would be a longshot too to make the team, although he hasn't even played an NHL game yet. I normally wouldn't have put Stastny on the top line, but for some reason he decides turn it up a notch in international games. 15 points in 13 games in the WC this year.

I'm curious as to who the head coach would be, as Ron Wilson doesn't even have a NHL head coaching job anymore. Neither does Torts. Laviolette maybe?

This will pretty be it, I'd shuffle and tweak the lines and dpairs slightly.

I'm throwin:

Parise--- pavalski ---- Kessel

Kane--- kesler ---- Ryan

Paci --- stasny ---- jvr

Callahan--- backes---- brown
Stepan

Pairs

Suter J. Johnson
McDonough shattenkirk
Yandle. Carlson

Alts. Gardiner and E.johnson... I wouldn't be suprised to see bogosian either

Also I love galy and his game, kid is gonna be a star, but I don't see him cracking this lineup just yet,

That 4th line makes me drool..the thing I've always said has been the advantage when we hit international stage, our grit, we might not be able to send out 4 first lines (canada) but that can play to our advantage, the callahans and the keslers of the world can frustrate the very best in the world very fast.

Boston's a helluva team. You would never have guessed they were minutes away from getting eliminated in the 1st round. What a save by Chara at the end there on Malkin.

Extremely disappointing for the Pens. With the roster they have you never would expect them to get swept in a playoffs series.

I'm telling you guys the Pens failure for better or worse was caused by ACamp's avartat switch. The Pens were never the same after he made the change.

This theory deserves its own thread. "Sir Puss & Fuss" or whatever the hell he calls it, is the hockey equivalent of the black cat or goat in Cubs lore.

*The B's are downright scary right now. IF the Hawks meet them, they better pack a lunch.

The Bruins sure look pretty scarey shutting down the best offense in hockey. The Hawks should they get by the King (I take nothing for granted) will have be ready to win a bunch of 2 to 1 type games.

At the same the Bruins are still mortal. The Maple Leafs almost took them out in round 1, in fact they had them on the ropes and let them off the hook.

Were they who they thought they were?

Let's Go Hawks!

Would prefer not to see a game 6. I know the Kings won't just roll over and die.

I looked at Patrick Kane's full grown playoff beard and I remembered back in 2010 when despite a run to the Stanley Cup he didn't have much of a playoff beard to show for it. Good to see Kaner make it through puberty.

GREAT start. Could do without Pang making an excuse for Quick after every goal he gives up.

Was hoping the whole game would go penalty free.

The Blackhawk power play is abysmal.

Wish the Hawks could just go ahead and decline all opponent penalties. I thought "well at least they can milk 2 minutes off the clock." Whoopsie Daisy.....

I know the Kings won the period but I still feel the Hawks were the better team through most of that 2nd period; had a couple of great opportunities especially the 2 involving Hosa.

That the Kings won't roll over. Got to gut this one out.

Yeah there was some serious chances there. If you told me Hawks would be up 2-1 heading into the 3rd a few hours ago, I'd tell you ill take it 100 out of 100 times.

I can't even begin to adequately describe how disgusted I am with the Hawks PP right now. It is an abomination that needs to have a blowtorch taken to it. Seems like they control the puck for 30 seconds of it, and those all come from resets after the other team ices it. SMH.

Yep. We'll take it though. Give some, get some. Think the Hawks deserve a break or two after the Hammer no goal incident.

Hawks may have robbed the bank there and got away with the penalty.

There was chances for both teams and some good up and down action. With the Blackhawks I'll take that all the time. If the game becomes a fast paced up and down style like it was for a few minutes there I'll take the Blackhawks over anyone.
