NHL has to be loving this.

You get Pittsburgh a hockey town, then huge markets in Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Don't get me wrong having Detroit, or the Rangers in there would have been just as great.

The NHL probably really needed this coming off their second lockout in a decade. It really coudn't have worked out much better for them. Hopefully the conference finals are just as good as the semis. This can be a very good thing for hockey going forward.

Haha for sure, the atmosphere at the UC must have been insane. It was deafening on the TV even. I was convinced after that garbage call that Detroit was going to come out and take OT but the Hawks were on their game. Loved the Bolland hit to set up Seabs.

I have the Pens in 6 as well. And Chicago in 7- Quick will steal a game or two from Chicago.

I'll hold off on finals predictions to see how the teams handle the finals but I'll take the Penguins (duh!).

Pens gotta avoid this kind of game, bruins are very good at it. And the pens tried to play this game with the flyers last year and look how it turned out, they're too talented to take this route..but hey, by all means go ahead and play it... It's way entertaining and it'll be handshakes in 4 games..

Quick was phenomenal last night but the Hawks just have too much fire power for the Kings to stick with them, IMO. And if the Hawks play as physical as they did last night this should be a quick series...hopefully.

Quick is amazing.
Game 1 was practically an AM start for LA's body clocks and they played like it.
That being said, they better start hammering the Hawk d-men or they're going home in quick fashion.
The King's offense seems to struggle to put anything on the board and it will be their downfall.
Quick will steal a game or three, but in the end the Hawks will get just enough past him to win (UNLESS Crawford shits himself).
