Nah, they're getting a deal done. You don't go from meeting for less than an hour to meeting for 8+ hours twice in a few days with no progress.

Definitely sounds like they are making progress. Pierre LeBrun had a good piece this morning that sounds really optimistic. My hope is they can get the season underway the first part of December.

Also everyone has been very silent. When things weren't going well they were running in front of a mic to bitch and moan. Only good signs so far, but this is the NHL so keeping my fingers crossed.

I sure hope they are making progress. Yesterday on fox sports Midwest they were airing, "Last years St Louis blues first game vs Detroit."

Yeah, the local Fox Sports station has been airing all the Kings playoff wins each Wednesday night. Tonight I believe it is game 3 and 4 of the St. Louis series.

Missed me some hockey so I stumbled over to the Compton Arena to catch some practice before Pitt game.

For those of you who ever get a chance to catch a game at nd you must. Arena is amazing and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Granted, I am a little drunk right now, but seriously...**** these guys! I am so pissed at the whole situation. You can't tell me these *******s can't get a deal done! Ugh! I am so over it! Just get the deal done and get the NHL back on the ice!!!!!!!!!

Met for 8 hours yesterday and are meeting again today..

There is a rumor that players are being called overseas and told to be ready to return any minute. We'll see.

There are lucky i love hockey so much....if i loved it any less i would boycott the season (assuming they pull their head out of their ***).

So IF this is true, i am wondering who's head is going to roll?! From my perspective seems like Fehr was the person that was holding off getting a deal done. Sure there is plenty of blame to go around however who was a a$$ hat that was most at fault...thoughts?

Well if they get a deal done it's not gonna make Bettman or Fehr look good. All the progress from yesterday and today's talk both would have excluded them.

I am cautiously optimistic. I hope they get it done this week. And then I hope and pray the owners fire Bettman.
