With Doughty on D, plus the guys in the minors right now, the Kings have the foundation to be very good for quite some time.

Doughty is a bonafide stud. I just saw on espn.com he is a finalist for the Norris trophy. cool

I'm unbelievably pumped right now, just dropped 15 bucks to watch my Hawks play vs the preds... love afternoon games when your living 7 hours ahead of the east coast. I'm not even pissed about having to watch commercials...I haven't seen any since christmas.

And Hjalmarsson scores on a clapper from the point to make it 2-1. Absolute seeing eye-dog as it made its way past about 6 people to find the short side of the net. Great effort by Toews to set up the play.

End of the first and the Hawks are looking good after a slow start. They've still got to cut down on the turnovers as the Preds have threatened a lot when the Hawks have coughed it up. Should be a good battle over the next 40.

Also, the Dos Equis commercials continue to impress...his mom has a tattoo that says "son"... LOL.

And a filthy goal by Kopecky as he pulls it around a Rinne poke check and burries it backhand after getting a break-away coming out of the box. Nashville's PP looks so bad the Hawks might as well start taking penalties on purpose.

And right after I say that Nashville PK scores on a 3-1. Kane feels much shame for the turnover.

3-2 after 2, Hawks are looking good but Rinne and a few bad plays have kept Nashville in the Game.

yes I passed Cubs fans on both, just the way I see it...

I'd love to see Buffalo win a cup, die hard, extra loval passionate, intelligent fan base that has never really been close (Brett Hull aside)... and I have no fandom at all in buffalo... very good fan base

I am really looking forward to game 7 of the Red Wings and Phoenix series tonight. I am really happy for the Yotes. They are doing so much better than anyone would have guessed prior to the season. I am torn because I also have a lot of respect for the Red Wings.

I am also shocked the Caps have allowed their series to go 7. Habs have some life and are on a streak. Halak played lights out in game 6. Better watch out Ovie!!! You never know what can happen in a game 7. When you are up 3-1 in a series, the worst thing you can give the other team is confidence. Montreal has some momentum and some fire. All the pressure is on the Caps now.

I think I gotta agree with you there. As much as I think the Yotes are a great story and it is good for hockey overall, I like the Wings much more in the next round against the Sharks. I freakin' hate the Sharks (as I have said before, not as much as I HATE the Ducks) and I would have much more faith in the Wings stopping the Sharks run.
