Is ask for your soul, but it appears it's already owned by other parties......

;)

It's truly a sad day when Bears fans are openly mocked by Browns fans, and it is justified. This goes far beyond Trestman or Cutler, Obama has to be involved somehow.....

Daddy still loves ya... Browns fans have nothing if not talking shit over stuff that doesn't involve us... For the record I feel the same way about Chicago... Hard to hate the bears too.

The only truly hateable team to me is Baltimore. On so many levels they are bad. Just really atrocious people involved there.

Despite their weird hatred of us and their heartbreaking upsets of us in the SBs, most NE fans have a healthy respect for NYG because many of our grandfathers grew up Giants fans before the Patriots were founded in 1960. The Jets are not competent enough to be hated. I've hated many Steelers players and many Steelers fans, but the franchise itself is fine. I used to hate everyone when I was younger and drunker. Yankees, Lakers, Pistons, Jets, Steelers, Colts, USC, Texas, etc.

Not sure at exactly which point my legit blood boiling hatred turned to relative indifference, but I reserve my hate for very few teams now.

God I hate the Packers. Today was a glorious day. Coming in to today I wanted a blowout a la week 1. However, this is so much better. Watching the cheese melt(down) on the interwebs is hilarious and watching Aaron Rodgers bitterly talk about how GB was really the "better team" today is also hilarious.

Don't really dislike the Packers at all, and not a Seahawks fan -- actually, of course, I loathe Pete Carroll, but Wilson seems like a decent kid and Sherman is actually growing on me -- but the bolded part is a good lesson for all athletes. Rodgers is a top flight player and I don't know anything negative about him personally, but athletes sound like jackasses when they say stuff like this. I mean, I know guys are competitive, so I understand a "we should have won that game" or "we played well enough to win for 57 minutes" or "very disappointing to play so well, have the game in hand and then lose." But "we were the better team today" after a collapse like that is just such whining. The most he could say is "I think we are the better team generally, but not today" -- but even that would have been false.

Squeek all you want...I have my own hell to live thru...while I am a Colts fan due to location and their fun-ness to watch thru the years, my first team was the LA Rams. I still love them and am mystified that our #1 QB has played like 7 games in the last 5 seasons (Sam Bradford). We were good but not good enough when I was a kid. Had the miracle run with the miracle QB out of nowhere (Seriously, I believe Kurt Warner was born with the name Roy Hobbs), and then settled back to anonymity...hopefully we are rebuilding as the end of this season looked better, but I think we need a bit more at QB more of the year.

I cheered very loudly for the Patriots vs. the Ravens and will again in two weeks, but I completely agree with your Ravens assessment.

Yeah let's talk about respect:

-Forrest Gregg had a pile of manure put in Ditka's visiting locker at Lambeau before a game

-Charles Martin wore a towel that had a "hit list" on it, and delivered two of the biggest cheap shots in NFL history, one all but ending Jim McMahon's career

-the list goes on.....

Real "classy" franchise.

I will never feel the need to justify my hatred of the Packers, but they can be hated just like any other team, and the idea they are these "angelic beings" makes me hate them even more.
Though you are a Bears fan I agree, especially the bold part.

That's cool ... Just my two cents... You live in so cal??? ... Ive never met a single packers fan that wasn't respectful and good people here in so cal... And they're just like steelers fans in that they're everywhere here... I can think of easily thirty or so bases that are more irritating imo...
Try living in the midwest for a few years. Packers have their version of "Walmart Wolverines."

Again see above about living in the midwest. Bears fans (no disrespect to those on here who happen to be inflicted with Bears fanhood) are the Georgia Bulldog fans of the NFL: a relentless fanbase full of homers whose expectations are staggeringly outsized compared to their actual outcomes. To hear them talk you would think they have 6 SB titles similar to Bulldog fans who think their program is the elite program in CFB.

This is how I feel about the Packers I guess. I respect the history and tradition of GB but there have been many players and coaches who I have hated in the GB organization. I truly despise Chicago though, through and through.
