Yeah, local DC sports radio spent an entire segment on it this morning. Hosts were pretty split. I’m on a flight now and watching TV on my phone they’re actually discussing more Myles Jack not being allowed to run that fumble recovery back and that they don’t think he was touched down. Nobody seems to care about the holding at the end of the game, which is fine... holding is missed all the time.

Either way, Brady about to get a 6th ring in 2 weeks and no one will remember this when all is said and done.

After watching that play a million times on the bus this morning. Cooks ran a horrible route. He basically allowed himself to be herded out of bounds. Same shit different Patriots game.

"Out muscled" isn't a legal way to play pass defense when the ball is in the air. Seriously, have you never watched football in your life?

Everyone hates the Patriots, so Twitter consensus isn't exactly a good barometer.

Fine, he was out played, out hustled, made to look like a punk.. Players are out muscled every single play. It’s a physical sport. But for you, I will use the phrase “Out Hustled”

This is supposed to help make me think the PI call was fair? That ref could give Brady and Bortles matching under wear for Christmas and it would still be a terrible call.
It has nothing to do with PI. It's for the morons on Twitter who think that the referee shaking Brady's hand at the end of the game is evidence of some grand conspiracy.

Its the internet. We are all just morons on the internet. And the vast majority of said morons believe the PI call was egregiously incorrect. That was great coverage against a weak route runner who relies on his speed to much.

Prior to the ball leaving Brady's hand, I would agree. But once it's in the air, you just can't do that.

That's not the one that means anything. Every time there's a kneel-down situation at the end of regulation, the head ref goes in to grab the game ball and pat the QB.

The one that *MEANS SOMETHING* is the one where the ref is the middle of the Pat's celebration having a good ol' time after a touchdown. You know that guy wasn't gonna throw a yellow flag on the home team all game after seeing that joyous grin on his face.

I assume you're joking because I know for a fact that you're not a dipshit.

James White scores and is thrown down (late) by Myles Jack. White and Jack start chirping at each other. Nate Solder runs over and gets in between the two of them. Tashaun Gibson puts his hands on White's shoulderpads, doesn't appear to be talking shit but it could be taken the wrong way. Cameron Fleming goes to celebrate with his teammate, knocking Tashaun Gibson aside in the process. Ref jumps in to separate them, thinking that Fleming was starting shit with Gibson. Fleming starts apologizing profusely, pointing out that he was trying to celebrate with White, not start shit with Gibson. The ref laughs and says "I know, I know, I know."
