Just an interesting story. As some may know I work in the Jail in Downtown Houston. Today I get into work and find out the day shift finger printer didn't properly finger print some one. I normally hate that because they do it frequently.
Anyways, I read the paper work and the name seemed extremely familiar but nothing stuck in my head. Then I was reading and next to "Occupation" it said "football coach". That already sparked my interest because I enjoy football, so I asked him where he coached and he said "well actually I play football". Then I stopped and again was trying to figure out where I knew the name from but I stopped pushing questions on him because he just seemed like he wanted to get the process done.
I finished and sat him in a location for him to go back up to the housing floors. I jumped on a computer googled his name and yup he is an NFL player. He was named an All-Rookie in his rookie year and made the Pro-Bowl one year also.
I would list his name but I did a quick google search and nothing popped up about him being arrested so for fear it would get out I won't mention a name.
I briefly asked about his career and he said yeah he is who I thought he was but he "retired" a year ago. But I think he just couldn't find a team to keep him, I asked if he wanted to get back to playing again but he said he had no interest in doing so.
His career was about 10 years and he made some good money
