In my league, I won my matchup by 87 points.

So this almost happened haha.

Robinson came up just short, so I got a win over KaneYouFeelIt in this league, but the worst came to fruition for me on the Burton/Howard/Carson thing in another league. I lost by less than 0.5 points.

QB decimals were the difference.

Tre Burton getting the shovel pass on the goal line, rather than Jordan Howard getting the ball was the ultimate difference maker.

It also didn't help that Carson got benched for basically the entire second half. They used Penny and Prosise for their pass-heavy offense.

In my other big fantasy league, we've had six attempts at trades so far... only one has gone through. The others have been vetoed by anonymous league member vote.

Is this normal? Are people just worried that one of the teams in the trade might be benefiting, and thus it hurts their chances to win the league, and so they mash "vote against"? Are my friends just assholes that are trolling every trade attempt?

I have a trade pending with GK in this league, and I think he's clearly getting the better part of the deal, but I'm desperate for a RB and I realize that's how trades work when you're shorthanded. You sacrifice production at one position to at least field a full roster. But as far as I know, none of you guys have voted against it simply because GK is getting a good player.

A very similar trade involving Zack Ertz was proposed and accepted in my other league, and it was vetoed last night, when it was scheduled to go through today. Unless someone got cold feet and requested that people veto it, I just don't understand why you would veto a trade if it's not a clear case of collusion, or late-season shenanigans between a top team and a bottom team.

Unless your league has a agreed-upon policy that says otherwise, trades should never be vetoed unless there is evidence of collusion.

As far as our trade, Graham is no slouch and outscored Kelce a couple times this year already. I had a surplus of running backs so it was worth making the deal for me but if Drake has a handful of productive games like he did last week it's a good deal for both.

So I'm a commissioner in another 12 team keeper league and a team that is 2-4 sold David Johnson and Diggs to a 3-3 team for draft picks and filler. The two guys are best friends. No team is worse than 2-4 and the 5/6 seeds are both 3-3. So the 2-4 guy is clearly not out of it and his team got better this week because he has Tevin Coleman. Also, he didn't shop those players around at all. I have made it known to everyone in the league that I am going to be a huge Buyer this year so it makes no sense not to check with me.

A) Smells like collusion to me. But obviously can't prove it. I was a huge seller last year and came in as the big favorite but this trade would really dampen my chances. I normally would never veto a trade unless I knew there was collusion, but when can anyone ever prove collusion? Seems like a standard that allows any trade to go through.

B) The Buyer is also complaining that the trade won't go through until Friday (which is the standard rule in our league...trade gets processed 2 days after trade approved). David Johnson plays Thursday and the Buyer is asking me to process the deal (aka bend the rules). I said no because I am not going to make an exception to one deal because then every time someone makes a deal on Wednesday involving a Thursday player I have to go clarify with both Managers what they want to do. He says I am being unfair because I am going against him this week. Thoughts?

A. You can't do anything. Vetoing the trade without evidence is tyranny. Sucks, but that's how it goes.

B. You're in the right, no exceptions on this. If they want to make the trade to go into effect for the Thursday game, do it earlier.

Just to clarify I would not unilaterally veto the trade. I would just be voting "yes" which would only result in an actual cancellation of the trade if 5 other people voted yes.

Hyde will probably have the job in Jacksonville until Fournette comes back. Not sure if anything has come out saying otherwise.

Well I will hold out some hope... In the mean time I'm looking for a RB and willing to offer up a pick for next season to sweaten the deal.
