So even better let’s put a guy who has never called a play or ran an offense in charge of the whole offense. Not inspiring much confidence.
Not saying Parker is the right guy here but he did call plays for the his last few games at WV and their production improved. I would still prefer a more proven option at the position. So even better let’s put a guy who has never called a play or ran an offense in charge of the whole offense. Not inspiring much confidence.
It's right up there with "Sport" and "Slick". Chief being the worst. Definitely Irasy Y time!"Chief" is such an awesome word. Irsay Y time
Unfortunately it appears that Swarbrick is Wormtongue.I will note that in this scenario, MFMF is absolutely Gandalf.
He's gonna have to head coach the shit out of this situation and save Parker's ass. Gonna ride in on Shadowfax with the bright light coming from his staff in the fourth quarter of the USC game, when the offense has failed but the defense can preserve a low-scoring win against an elite USC offense.
Then he's gotta find his Aragorn to take the offensive throne, and then lead a sortie at the Black Gate against UGA in next year's National Championship, winning against all hope.
Lol wasn't "experience" a prerequisite? Settling on Parker is something West Virginia should have to do, not Notre Dame. Absolute embarrassment.I understand he wasn't respected enough to call the plays, so he wasn't really the OC there. ... hmmm
BB is a great coach. But Brady led the league in TDs his second year as a starter and then finished 3rd in MVP vote his third season. He wasn’t carried past that first season.Terrible take. The Patriots had an amazing defense for their first championship teams. Belichick is a great coach
I mean, Hartman has gotta be Aragorn even based off looks alone.I will note that in this scenario, MFMF is absolutely Gandalf.

Based purely on experience Parker doesn’t fit the need. He may turn in to the next great OC, but I can’t see how he’s a legitimate option now given the entire staffs lack of play calling experience. But they apparently did interview him, so there’s that. Here’s to hoping it’s nothing more than MF being kind. Not saying Parker is the right guy here but he did call plays for the his last few games at WV and their production improved. Or we can stop acting like a mid program and just hire the fucking OC our HC wants.Chryst and Parker co-OC’s. Chryst qb coach. Parker gets the job once Chryst leaves.
At least he would spend money.@IrishLax this is some Dan Snyder shit here.
Best analogy yet. God I hope he sells the team this offseason...@IrishLax this is some Dan Snyder shit here.
I’m sure TNdomer is on board.HEAR ME OUT --

With how he left the NFL I doubt ND would even entertain it.HEAR ME OUT --

Not at Notre Dame.Except that's how every offensive coordinator in history had to start at some point....
