Also, and you may not believe it, I have never caught either one of them in a lie.

if you have never caught them in a lie, then you have not cared to look...

There are entire books out showing where they lie. Not give differing opinions, but blatantly lie.

It does not matter though, because they are just like Randy Rhodes...they are talking heads and give opinions, not facts.

Bolton is a perfect example. He spoke from his true beliefs & what he thought was just...& the truth hurt. He was excoriated by the UN, the press & the liberals

Well, Bolton's problem is that he is not particularly nice. If you want a diplomat, hire someone who knows how to be polite to people. It's common sense, it's not political...it's just common sense.

I work at a PR firm now. The PR guys know how to be good to clients. If they had no sense of customer service, you certainly would not put them in a position to deal with clients would you?

With the exception that people actually listen to Limbaugh's show. Love him, hate him, agree with him, disagree with him - there is no denying his sucess. I don't think there is a piece of ground in the lower 48 where you can't find him on the radio dial at 12:07 local time.

will never read anything that c__t writes. She is on the same page as Ted Kennedy for me, it is entitled "What is wrong with Politics".

She defends McCarthyism. She believes people are guilty until proven innocent...she's basically a freakin communist without the fiscal idiocy. I would never funnel money her way.

Replace limbaugh(whom i can't stomach) with Stern(whom I love) and the same statement applies. The only difference is Limbaugh says people with addictions are weak and Stern admits he has one. Hannity's words generally mirror his actions.

LOL there is a reason they garner so much hate against them from the left. Might it be that they expose what liberals are doing, and they just can't stand it. Kind of like Foxnews, I have never seen so much anger over one news channel. It is really sad.

People try to belittle Rush because of his shortcoming. Fine, I understand that. Those drugs are abused by a whole lot of people who you respect, you just don't know about it. The thing most are forgetting (get past the hate), is that he is one of the few out there that balances against the entire mainstream media, and provides context for what we read/hear on a daiily basis. Keep hating, his audience (who are not dumb people by any means) will continue to be drawn to him.

I think this is really whiney, sorry stoney and marv. If I got a hummer every time I heard the words liberal media, I would be a catholic priest(going to hell baby).

Right: the airwaves and fox.
Left: NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC.

Every MAJOR city has a right leaning newspaper and left leaning one. I don't consider pittsburgh a major city but we have the tribune review(right) and the post(left) both have nearly the same number of subsription.

Liberal media, I just don't see it, really and I look for this shit ever since I started listening to Hannity. I think it is even and by the way even if it isn't even, it sure the hell doesn't seem to be working(8 of the last 28 yrs. there has been a R in the oval office). So i think this is just whiney.

LOL You must have your head in the sand then. Every major newspaper, for the most part, is liberal. ALL of the newspapers, and most of the tv news channels, take the lead from the New York Times, on what story to run that day or the next. It has been that way for many years. The NYT ran 127 stories on Abu Graib in 31 days. You forget Newsweek, Time, and alot of the other magazines. You left out MSNBC and Stewart at the comedy channel, not to mention NPR and Air America. Ah, can't leave out the bias from college professors who don't allow conservatives to view points in class, or are ridiculed for doing so. Another stronghold for the output of the liberal agenda.

Geez, sounds like Fox News really balances ALL of that out. Get in the game!

i'll say the same thing to you that say gore won the 2000 election, let it go.

Why?... I'm not crying that Clinton didn't rightfully win...he did. I'm just pointing out the fact that he was elected w/ less than 50% of the popular vote both times. Chill out.

The Gore whine is much more nauseating. He's the one that should have let it go after he called Bush to concede & then retracted when he was told he could make a case that he was cheated. For the good of the country, he should have shut his mouth and gone back to Tennessee to film doc. about how evil SUVs are. But noooooooooooooooooo.

Ironically, one of the most corrupt Presidents DID do the classy thing & not raise a stink for the good of the country when he had a case for alleged wrongdoing regarding the Presidential vote of 1960. Nixon could have insisted on investigating the Mob's involvement in fixing the votes in Chicago, but knew it would throw his country in crisis. And whatta ya know...he bided his time & won both the '68 & '72 elections where he could've made history but, instead; let his paranoia get the best of him & chose infamy.

There's a fine line between "nice" & "ass kissing". We know were "nice guys" finish in the world of politics don't we? The road to hell was paved w/ good intentions, yadda, yadda, yadda.

she's a "shock jock" version of a political commentator. She says outrageous stuff like that b/c it sells her books & gets her speaking gigs. She's been very successful at both.

To me she's just the Right's version of Al Franken.

Agreed. I've never been a big fan but he singlehandedly saved AM radio. I hate how his psycophant "ditto heads" call him up to kiss his ass, but to each their own, he's definitely earned their respect. For the most part, these shows (both liberal & conservative) are about one thing...showbiz.

I agree w/ your limbaugh & Hannity comments. As far as Stern...I prefer Imus.

BTW- the radio airwaves are not conservative, they are a mixed bag of all types of views. It just so happens that two of with the largest audiences are Rush and Hannity. Do you think there might be a reason? Obviously, a hell of alot of people aside from marv and I think that the media is doing an awful job of reporting. If it were not for Fox, and those two, how would America get ANY balanced coverage...it wouldn't. So much for the great bastion of 'Freedom of Speech' from the liberals. They tried to get Rush off of the military airwaves. Once again, just as on college campus', freedom of speech is for those who say the 'correct' things.

dude, everyone on this thread has seen the polling of the newsmedia telling us what side of the aisle for which they support. It's overwhelmingly the left. And the NY Times (the old gray lady) is a bastion of liberalism. They've recently been exposed these last few years for the heavy handedness but not nearly to the point they deserve. No paper gave reporting a black eye like the NY times but they're still going full steam ahead.

Of course the people don't elect who the media slants towards. give the public a little credit. The media believe they are the elite & smarter than the avg. joe & it pisses them off to no end when they're boy gets beat at the polls. I can still see Judy Woodruff of CNN choking back the tears when she realized that the Dems were gonna lose the White House again.

Coulter exposes nothing on the left, but she does prove that people will believe anything they read.

However, I do not think she represents the Right in most cases...she appeals to a far baser instinct.

I love the 'free speech' crowd when she goes to a campus and gets shouted down by student activists. So much for the centers of learning and free thought! I would not let her mannerisms detract from her opinions. She is often insightful about what she comments on. Again, read her book 'godless', if you choose not to, then perhaps refrain from harsh judgement. She is dead on in how/why liberals act in how they deal with state vs. church, evolution, liberal judges, and (SLH's favorite) science. I'm neither her biggest fan nor apologist, I just feel that, like Newt, gets little credit because she is polarizing.
