Josh Oglesby and Gary Gray will be there, other than that, I don't know. I think the lineman from Columbine, who is on the front page of Irish Illustrated will be there as well.

Oglesby has said that these visits are more for his mother now. He wants her to see the schools and meet the coaches because both she and they are a part of his life. Sounds like a great kid.

He's been to a few schools already...ND, Wisconsin. I doubt he commits, but if he did....green with ENVY!!

Oglesby did not commit as far as anyone knows now. Cedric Everson and Ronald Johnson did not make it. Dan Matha got an offer, so did Aaron Nagel and he verballed. Joseph Barksdale was also there.

Can we read anything into the fact that Johnson and Everson are from MI and didn't have that far to come [i.e. Gary drove all the way from Columbia, SC]? Did they chose to simply not attend, or did they have a conflict? Does this absence correlate to their degree of interest [or lack of same]?

A couple of tidbits from Rivals....

Johnson could not find a ride to campus and said he'll get down there for spring ball at some point.

Everson had a track meet.

Doesn't sound like a big deal. I bet they both visit.

Barksdale was there and that is a good thing. ND told him they won't offer without seeing game film. They have seen him at the junior combine from San Antonio at the Army AA game. Once they see actual game tape, he's golden.

Thanks for the update. I knew Johnson would be difficult anyway because of his previously-mentioned leanings. However, the fact that he and Everson had legitimate reasons for not attending and will [I assume Eevrson will also reschedule later] is good news. Although hard to believe, I had heard that previewing a player's video is SOP before offering a scholarship. What's surprising is that Barksdale didn't already have one!

Based on what I've read, I think they are a legit contender for him. Michigan and MSU will be tough to beat, of course, but Barksdale talks a lot about his schooling in these articles. He wants to be a chemical engineering major.

I think he has to realize he can come in and play right away, plus get the education that he desires. I think with an offer we'll know a lot more just how much he is considering ND.

Quintin Richardson told Scout that ND is recruiting him as a defensive linemen even though he hasn't played there since his sophomore year. At 6-5, 265 he sounds like a nice DT prospect.

Everson says to Rivals his top four right now are Indiana, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Notre Dame.
