I don't know, but it feels like after all the blowback over the OC hire, they should have the resources/desire to make a splash with this one. And it has to be one of the most attractive OL jobs in college football. I've no idea who, but I'd expect a big-time hire here.

So, yeah, we'll go the underwhelming inside-guy route.

What does flight tracker say? Nobody is flying a jet from SB to Utah for the nba all star game. Lets be honest, nobody watches the NBA anymore.

Not sure why Jeff Quinn would be a bad idea isn't he the guy who recruited Fischer and Ott? Both are going to be First round picks when it's all said and done.

After this week, that would give Coach D a rage stroke and that might be interesting to watch on a live stream.

Living in Miami and being married to a Cane, I normally would say there is a 0.000000000000% chance of this happening.
  1. Mirabal is Cristobal's best friend, dating back to high school (where the two attended Columbus).
  2. Mirabal has been everywhere with MC everywhere, pretty much.
  3. He's also the AHC and making really good money.
  4. Miami has had a ton of staff turnover this year and would open the checkbook to keep one of Cristobal's key lieutenants.
  5. He was born and raised in Miami.
Sounds like the dude needs to get out of SE Florida and see the world.

Are we not gonna give him credit for turning Ott into a 3 star recruit to starting as a freshman and being one of the best OL's as a freshman?

Sure, he deserves some credit for that. But, as a unit, I don’t think he had that group playing to their potential.

I won’t pretend to know much, but this career path concerns me with Funk. Though I 100% expect he will be on whatever list.

- 2020 - : BYU — Offensive Line Coach
- 2018-2019: UTSA — Offensive Line Coach
- 2017: Indiana State — Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach
- 2016: Purdue — Offensive Line Coach
- 2015: Akron — Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach
- 2011-14: Michigan — Offensive Line Coach
- 2009-10: San Diego State — Offensive Line Coach
- 2008: Ball State — Offensive Line Coach
- 2004-07: Colorado State — Offensive Line Coach

While experienced, he seems to kinda run a cycle of gets bumped up level, starts from scratch, gets bumped up, starts from scratch. Why is he not staying at the P5 level?

Also just followed Grimes and Mateos the Baylor guys so I’m sure some/all their recruits and possibly even players due to COVID Year/Mission.

He’s a rambling man. Can’t take a bronco out of the ramble once in the ramble.

I don't know man. As good as Alt was, and then continued to be, you gotta consider the fact that Alt just has "it."

Sure give Quinn credit for him. But if you go down that road, you gotta wonder why Quinn didn't recognize it earlier and Alt was his like the 4th dude he put in there. And then you have to knock Quinn for why guys like Baker and highly rated recruits didn't pan out.

Also, it took two guys to get hurt for Alt to see the field. It’s not like Quinn knew in August that he had himself a future first round pick in Joe Alt.

Ask Dryskall and it was bc his father taught him good technique and had less time to pick up Quinn's bad habits

He was Hoke’s OL coach at San Diego St, Ball State, and Michigan. If he wasn’t moving up, he was let go due to head coaching changes.

Sounds like bad fate to tempt then for Marcus Freeman
