And I'm not sure there is such a thing as vocal cord calcification.

Severe swelling of the vocal cords (folds)? Likely. Vocal nodules (nodes)? Possibly. Antler spray? No telling...

Bama might as well just call the NCAA and forfeit this past National Title. Clearly Bama wouldn't have won the NCG had the few players whose names have been dropped (that have used it), with only 1 consistently playing meaningful reps (Hubbard), not used it.

After all, Hubbard scored all those touchdowns and had 8 sacks that game.

Just let it go. You guys are a solid program, but you got beat by a more talented team, that had more big game experience, and a superior coaching staff from top to bottom. If the players that ND currently has/are bringing in develop the way that they should, and don't become complacent, they will be one of the top 5 or so programs for the foreseeable future. It's 2013. Let it go. Spring Ball is almost here. New season, new opportunity.
