Any of these smaller brands run the same risk as UA did when we signed with them last time. That they fall off a cliff and lose their appeal by the time the deal is over.

IMO, among the candidates; I think it’s the inferior option overall. They make a great hoodie but I don’t see a superiority advantage over Nike when it comes to “dri-fit” t-shirts & pullovers, golf pants/shorts, athletic pants/shorts/joggers. Not saying it’s crap but if Nike has better footwear and equal sportswear, why split hairs?

Plus, UA could end up going the way of Reebok (which held their own in the 80s-90s). I’m guessing Nike is far & away the better off financially compared to UA & adidas?

EDIT: one small product that I love from UA is their “no show” socks. Those damn things never slip off your heel like other brands. My favorite by a mile but I highly doubt it’s a revenue generator.

I personally don't like Nike shoes. I would be ok with ND switching to Nike if it meant better footwear for the athletes and for the majority of the football recruits that like Nike. I would even be ok taking a little bit less money to have better product. Just my 2 cents.

I guess I'm just not picky but I notice zero difference between any of these companies products. I own Nike and UA shoes right now and they're both fine.

Just equipment. I know Tiger still has a line of clothing & a ton of golfers are wearing their clothes & shoes as well. Some are even wearing Jordan Low or Dunk Low golf shoes.

I wore one this weekend while in Chicago. My wife takes tons of pics and with my khaki shorts I screamed middle age white man. Never again… I’ve already started the donate box.

There was a point in time where they had Curry, Harper, and Brady and all three were the biggest stars in the best players in their respective sports. UA looked poise to take the leap when ND first signed their deal with them but they've been on the downswing for awhile.

UA started declining with the departure of Kip Fulks. Very interesting guy. I believe he’s involved with Origin now. A great company that is attempting to source and manufacture everything in America. Read up on them, great story about resurrecting old warehouses an looms and even bygone trades. Jocko Willink is very involved too.

They had Jordan Spieth in there as well when he was winning majors and one of the best golfers in the world.
