ISD definitely feels more professional and tends to be less desperate to be first so is more credible. Roberts at IB seems pretty with it too but its early to judge. They have kind of placed their eggs in the Bowen is all trumped up for clicks basket so if that doesn’t play out that way, then they are gonna take a hit.

A) Last year they didn’t actively check vaccination cards, so people can just lie.

B) What level of vaccination do they want?
The initial dose? The booster? The second booster, which isn’t even fully available to people under 50?

There isn’t really any accepted guideline currently to what is acceptable as “vaccinated.”

I was fully vaccinated, then booster, but nothing since. And the initial vaccination and booster help me against the evolving strains, but don’t stop me from being a carrier & transmitting to others the new ones.

So I’m really not sure what ND is expecting or considering an up to date vaccination status?

I know even my former co-workers in this field of infectious disease are confused by the current “guidelines & policies.”
To be honest, a lot of them don’t even make sense medically.

At the spring game, which was the last time I was there, nobody asked me or anybody I was with for proof of vacation.

I stayed at Morris inn last week and no, they aren’t doing shit. No masks anywhere. Thank god. There were a few Chicago freak shows in town with N95 masks on outside bleaching their hands and running from sneezes. 99% were not.

I loved it when my kids were really little because we all kid sit together in the non-bar section and watch early games before kickoff.

Why are you so triggered? I understand you don’t want to wear a mask and disbelieve Covid, but unless someone is directly shitting on you, you’re the one sounding real sensitive about people not harming you or anyone else doing what they feel necessary wearing a mask. It’s a weird ass line of attack.

I agree, I have no serious issue with it unless they force it on me, which they did for 2 years. Also threatened to fire me if I didn’t get both shots, which did not stop me from getting it nor from spreading it to my family after the fact.

It’s only okay to act like an ass about it if you’re on the other side of the fence as is the case with essentially all topics.

As someone with a very serious underlying condition and having had Covid with no issues, I get a kick out of having to “protect” teenagers and other people wearing industrial chemical masks outdoors in 90 degree heat a year after they’ve been vacced and boosted.

Thought it was odd how they said htey didn't want to go that far in history to figure this out (I think they said late 90s), but they don't put extra weight on players recently drafted or still in the NFL. Miami's TEs all seemed to be drafted prior to 2010 (didn't look this up, and I don't want to give it another click).

As much as I hated to, I reclicked. They are giving weight to all conference selections, so that screws ND over a little bit. Not sure why someone being a first rounder in 2000 is the same as someone being a first rounder in 2018, but ESPN will do what they want to do.
