I rag on Purdue more than any other team because it was the worst game I have ever been to and my wife has not been to another game since our 2003 visit to Ross-*** Stadium. ND got beat but it was the Purdouche fans that made it miserable. We were both wearing our ND colors and two jerks throughout the game called me and my wife out and names that were disgusting to say the least. We went and got security and only one Purdue person (an elderly gentleman) backed us up to what those jerks were doing. After we got security, almost the whole section turned on us and 8 or 9 other ND fans around us. One guy took a hot dog (guess how) and was telling my wife and the other ND fan women to come have a bite. Finally half-way through the third quarter (some may have remembered the tv cameras focusing on that section) security came back and asked us plus the other ND fans to leave because they felt we were causing the uproar among the fans. I have never told this story because it was shown on TV and didn't want to expose the situation. So I'm sorry if I offend any ND fans here but I will continue to express my hate for Purdick fans for the rest of my football fandom life.

That's awful but definitely believable. I saw an elderly couple sporting ND gear spit on, had numerous things yelled at me, and had many guys get confrontational. The only thing that saved me from being attacked by a group (on several different occasions) was being with all of my friends that were Purdue students at the time. My only offense was wearing ND stuff while walking around with my Purdue friends and never said a word to the guys trying to fight me.
